You are looking at the best repair shop in the area! Not just a transmission shop! The gang there works on anything for any reason. Brooks and Jim are the best people to deal with! Always friendly and professional and always willing to work on vehicles. I am impressed by their positive attitude. Don't go to one of those high-price shops that will overcharge you and not fix the problem. This place is by far the best place in town!
I guess this place has forgotten about the little people that got them started when they were in the Lakewood Mall doing one shirt at a time. The last time two times I have gone there, they have not been able to do an order for me because they were backlogged with bigger orders for schools or businesses. They wanted me to wait one or two days for my order. This last time I even called to ask if they were going to be able to complete an order for me and was assured it would not be a problem, drove all the way from Puyallup only to be turned away. I was even more upset when they suggested I drive back the next day for service then when there were more people on staff. I honestly have gotten plenty of shirts done there, for personal and professional use, and was appalled that they would treat any customer this way. Perhaps they have now gotten too big for their britches and taken on more than they can handle so they don't care about their small customers anymore.
This place is terrible!!! Do not waste your time going to them for your optical needs. They are not organized, have more turnover than a lumpy bed and can't seem to keep their orders straight. They frequently lose customer's orders and are never on time with their orders as promised. You would be better off paying for more expensive glasses... or geez... even go to Wal-mart!
Good food... inexpensive prices!!! Where else can you feed a family of 4 for under $20 and everyone is full at the end of the meal??? This place is great!!! Nobody there speaks english, but cheeseburger translates in any language.
I love this store. I never have a problem finding anything to buy there. There is always racks upon racks of stuff on clearance and not just the stuff not even your grandmother wouldn't wear. Sometimes you may have to search through racks to find what you want, but you can always come out of there with some great finds.
This place is hit or miss with sales and customer service. I have gone in there sometimes and been greeted at the door. That same person is still following me around when I leave, happy, with a bag full of goodies in my hand. Other times I can walk in there and be totally ignored, even after asking questions of the CSRs. Their underwear sales are great and I will usually go there for that, but I can't see spending $40 for a pair of workout pants. The prices are a bit steep but if you get their email, you can sometimes hit a good sale with a coupon. Good luck with your hit or miss.
This store carries all of the same products as the other Michael's stores, so go there. This store knows nothing about customer service and honestly cares more about sitting on their butts than actually helping customers. I have wandered around the store for five - ten minutes searching for an associate and then when I found one, she didn't know what she was doing. Definitely go to another store to get what you want because this one is not worth the hassle.
My family has followed this family from their restuarant in Lakewood to their new place in Fife. Though they have a new building and now offer sushi, the warm friendly family that runs this wonderful establishment is the same. Everything is GREAT! I would recommend anything on the menu, including the calimari katsu or salmon teriyaki. The husband works behind the sushi counter and the wife and daughters run the tables. They are a great team. Mr. & Mrs. Lee always greet their customers with a smile and friendly hello and go there enough times and they will give you your own set of chopsticks!!!
So, after a horrible experience at the Tacoma Business Careers (read my review there too) I decided to hope that the Renton office would not be the same. Laurel Rick called me, informed me that she had worked for the company for countless years and had a very high placement rate. I was impressingly hopeful that this office would be different than the Tacoma office. Boy was I wrong!!! I spent an hour in traffic driving north for the interview and testing that Ms. Rick promised was protocol since Business Careers has not moved into the era of technology and doesn't keep anything on computer, including job announcements or applicants. I walk into an office that has 5 people waiting in the waiting room. The receptionist asks me to fill out a form (I've done this once already), and then wait. 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment Ms. Rick walks over to me and introduces herself. Now, I wouldn't normally be upset about the late appointment, but from my vantage point in the waiting area, I could see Ms. Rick (though I didn't know it was her at the time) sitting at her desk doing nothing for the 15 minute waiting period besides shifting papers from one side of her desk to the other.
My interview with Ms. Rick lasted exactly 10 minutes. She didn't seem interested in talking to me, placing me or anything else. She stood up before I even knew the interview was over and ushered me out of the office like I had the plague or something. No tests, no nothing, and not surprising that I haven't heard from her since then.
Do these people have nothing better to do than make job searchers feel more worthless???
