Violet's Cakes
What an amazing experience. I first found Violet's on a whim, while shopping in Old Towne, Pasadena. I am a cupcake lover and always look forward to tracking down and trying cupcakes where- ever I travel. I lived in New York right down from Magnolia's Bakery and those of you that know anything about cupcakes... New York is the mecca of cupcakes. Anyway, as I stood outside of Violets, I thought what a cute store front, but will the service and taste equal the inviting storefront. OH YEAH!!! From the first bite to the fourth cupcake(that's right, I couldn't stop with just one) I had standing there, I was in heaven. That was one of the best experiences I have had with my taste-buds. The business is family owned and operated. The owner her staff were just so pleasant.
I have now made Violet's a regular stop and have NEVER been disappointed even when I have to stand in line, I always know that there is a smile and a tasty cupcake coming my way. Violet's also has an assortment of flavors that I have never found at any other cupcakery's. There are other cupcake joints and then there is VIOLET'S!
