Shaab Restaurant
This place is always crowded. The food is great and very reasonably priced. I don't think they have enough wait staff...or they aren't trained well. They forget things and it takes a long time to get your check. Other than the service, it was great.
Parkway Grill
I never noticed this place until someone told me about it. It's on a really busy street, but not highly visible. The food and service were great. I would go here again.
El Cholo Pasadena
Whenever my family flies in they like to go to El Cholo. I highly recommend making reservations. The place is always crowded. The service was great and the food was good too. I'm surprised by the bad reviews, but I have never had a problem with slow service here. Overall the restaurant is very good.
Porto's Bakery
I found this bakery by accident and noticed that it had a crowd and huge lines. There is a huge selection of desserts and they also serve meals. It was confusing to figure out which line was for what, but the food is very high quality. I always go here to get food for special occassions and parties.
Tangier Restaurant
The food was very expensive and parking is not easy to find. I liked the food and it was OK. The service was also good. It was alright, but not my kind of restaurant.
Melting Pot Restaurant
This is a great place for couples. Make a reservation before you go there. The service was excellent and the food was too. The menu was a little confusing, especially for those of us who do not eat fondue on a regular basis, but the servers are very helpful and eager to explain. It's a great restaurant.
Cheesecake Factory
Not great, but not bad. The service was good. The food was alright. There is always a crowd waiting to get into this restaurant, but when I ate there I didn't understand what was so great about it. It was OK.
Maison Akira Restaurant
Whenever I have friends or family visiting I always bring them to this restaurant. The service is great and the food is yummy. It is expensive, though. The brunch is good too.
Tokyo Wako Restaurant
I liked the food, the teppan chefs were nice, but the waitress was terrible. My order was wrong, I was overcharged, and they didn't care. I would not recommend this restaurant. The wait staff is either poorly trained or terribly managed.
Royal Hand Wash
They weren't very busy when I went for my car wash, but the car was not clean when I got it back. I was also overcharged and treated rudely by the cashier when I brought it to her attention. I have gone to this place other times before without problems myself, but I have seen the employees treat other customers rudely and without respect. I believe this is more of a problem with this business's poor management than with the employees. The poor communication and horrible customer service isn't due to a language barrier, but due to the poor attitudes of those who work there. I will no longer go to this car wash.
