I mainly go to this place for the shows.
1.The rooms are pricey and the place is very smoky! $300 dollars a night! This is NOT even close to being Vegas! Why the Vegas prices? On a positive note, the hotel staff was nice.
2.Not enough games! We had to constantly wait for wheel of fortune! I had money I wanted to spend and couldn??t even manage to spend it because the games were FULL all the time! One lady would even put in a dollar at a time!
3.The Spa experience gets a ZERO!!!We had a girl??s night out and came up to cache creek for a show. We drove two hours and arrived early for our messages to find out the spa entered the appointment on the wrong day! They claimed it was my fault and they had already charged my card $200 the day before I arrived. The desk girl said I should have confirmed two days before I came. This suggestion was not given when I made the appointment. Furthermore, the spa appointments would have been filled by then anyway and it would have still left us without service. I told them I am not paying for an error on their part. The girl at the desk was not friendly and argued with me. I asked for a massage or my money back. She said they were booked and she wasn??t going to give my money back. I asked for a manager and she gave me her phone number to call at home. I spent the next two hours calling this lady and she was ruder than the desk girl. I basically, had to threaten that I would call my credit card company and tell them they are committing fraud and that I would contact the better business bureau and the manager of the hotel and any other person that would listen if she didn??t give my money back! She then agreed to give my money back! I still had to call my credit card company to claim fraud and then finally got my money back.
I do NOT recommend their spa. The spa is owed by an independent company so they don??t have to acknowledge your complaints! BEWARE!
I would recommend the shows and the hotel if you can get past the smoke. You can also, save money by staying at the Hampton Inn thirty minutes down the road and save $150.
Pros: The cabinets looked very nice in the end, gave good design suggestions
Cons: delays; had to stay on top of things myself and point out obvious issues and lacks
attention to details.
We had our kitchen refaced; added recessed lighting and new appliances installed. I would say that it was basically a (B-) experience.
First, the job got delayed due to an injury. Later, I asked how the guy was and no one knew what I was talking about. MMMMMM
Secondly, the job was suppose to take two weeks and almost took three. It was a one man crew. However, he was nice and respectful.
Third, there was a huge disconnect when it came the details of the job and who was responsible for what, such as handles and onsite problems.
The one guy that was working on the kitchen didn??t really know the order of events so I would talk to the project manager, Luis Moreno, who was very nice but only handled problems with the onsite job and not details like the handles etc.. That seemed to be Christopher Larose??s job, the sales rep. So are you confused yet? Me too!
End the end I felt like I was co-site manager. I had to send the specs for the handles several times, I caught several mistakes on the job such as slanted handles, unstained areas and also had to go to Lowes myself for a cap that was not capped off after they took my dishwasher out. It was literally pouring water under my sink when I turned the water on. However, I did not catch it for two days.
Lastly, I loved how my cabinets look but the ceiling was discolored where our old lights where taken out and they just textured it but it needed to be painted also. I have high expectations and that??s why I gave the job three stars.
Furthermore, my husband referred a friend from work to Keane Kitchen against what I would have done. The friend at work is high in the company and Keane Kitchen never showed up for the first appointment due to a computer crash (loss of appointments). I was so embarrassed! The friend was really upset but did agree to let them come out again. I just pray they do a good job for my husband??s reputation.
Ed was just great! Friendly, honest and fair priced bids. He came out to my home and installed a heating and air conditioning. It works great! He explained everything throughly and even called to follow up after the install to make sure everything went well. Now, that's top notch.
This guy is very honest and has a great work ethics. Which you don't see anymore theses days. He stayed true to his bids and made sure the work was done safe and up to code. I would recommend to a friend. The only ding I can give him is you have to call to confirm him the day before. If you do you will be fine.
Really nice guy! Reliable, follow through, and stays on bid. I would recommend to a friend. However, I would tell people to get a bid by the job not hour. It seems to work out fair that way.
I hired Larry and Experience Home Theater to wall mount a TV, run some new cable (three rooms) and prepare a bid for a more major home audio/video system. Larry had done work for me before that was top notch; however this time I was disappointed tremendously. Several things happened each made it worse. First, I had to constantly chase him for information/bids. When his bid came in at $27,000 (yes, $27,000) you would have thought that he would want my business, he obviously thought I had a lot to spend. Great imagination, but I would only consider him if I was a techno geek who wanted $1200 remote controls.
Second, his work this time was not the same quality as before. I now have six drill holes in my ceiling. I guess random drilling will eventually reveal the inside wall. I also had a circuit box cutout put in the wrong place and now I have to patch, stucco, and paint the area. No effort on his part to reduce his bill or repair the damage.
But what really got me was that he bid his work at $125/hour, and then he brought two marginally competent people with him to assist (he never worked with assistants before and did not mention it in the bid). They were here for 4 hours, but I was billed for 12 hrs of labor or $1500!! I paid $375/hour, which was not in the contract. And I still have to do the repair work.
I gave Larry and Experience Home Theater one star since I do believe he knows his stuff and will explain a lot of tech speak. However, get it all in writing and ask him to bid out jobs by the job and not by the hour. If the labor charge would have been more reasonable or if he would have repaired the damage, I would give him a higher rating.
recently used this company to move and Jim made everything go smoothly. He came out to my house and to the house we were moving to, in order to check all materials needed and expect before the move. He gave me all the information I needed and gave me all the costs up front. They even knew exactly how many wardrobe boxes I needed. They had everything down to a science. They plastic wrapped my couches and bagged my mattresses. They used furniture pads on everything. They put mats down on the floor in order to prevent stains or damage to the house. I would recommend them to my friends and family! Thanks Jim, Chris, and Rudy. You guys worked ten log hours and you were professional even until the end. Thank You !
This was a review I would have loved to write differently but I have to be honest. I planned my entire wedding and this was the only vendor that let me down. I made friends with the ladies at the company prior to the wedding and when the big day came there was disappointment. I hired Amy and Carrie for "A day of Coordination package;" of course I could have paid extra for additional services.
First: I personally took care of all my contracts except for one, the one I paid Paris Designs to oversee. Unfortunately, it was the only one I had a problem with. Amy took care of hiring a band several weeks before the wedding. Amy called me the week before the wedding and told me the band never received the signed contract that she mailed !She stated that the band could not perform at the wedding without it and Amy wanted to know if I had an extra copy because she mailed her ONLY copy to them: very unprofessional. This is basic business 101. Make copies! This was just one extra thing added to my list the week of the wedding, the one item that I paid her a commision to take care of.
Second: Carrie was the day of coordinator. The day of the wedding my brother delayed the start of the wedding by about 20 minutes. This was not a huge dea to me, apparently it was to her. However, as soon as he got there we lined up to go down the aisle and Carrie rushed past and rudely said in front of my son, brother and bridesmaids that she had never started a wedding late. She then ran out to start the wedding. We were stunned! We all did not need to hear how my wedding ruined her perfect record right before I was about to walk down the aisle. This put a black cloud on everyone's mood. Everyone looked at me and said,"Why is Carrie acting so rude? I had to reassure everyone to just ignore her and have a good time; literally right before the doors opened to start the wedding. This comment did not need to be made like this. There is a time and place for everything.
Third: As my husband and I were headed for our exit with sparklers and a limo lined up, Carrie asked me what to do with the wedding gifts. All I was thinking was WHY NOW? This could have been arranged weeks ago. So, rather than leave in a glorious exit, we had to start asking everyone who had a car, because most people had taken a shuttle to the wedding. We finally found a guest who had a car and was willing to take all the gifts to the hotel. How embarrassing. An experienced coordinator should have covered these details way ahead of time; totally amateur.
I have used this company many times for airport travel and had no problems. However, when it comes to wedding events STAY AWAY. They were late, forgot some of my wedding party, and did not know how to get to the destinations. After we got back from our honemoon, we called to complain. Amazingly, the owner had the nerve to ask why we didn't complain on our wedding day or the next day, (Our honeymoon) What a joke! Do I need to say more! In the end and after a 45 minute phone call explaining what happened, in which the manager argued with me, he finally gave me a free ride to the airport, a $70 fare. Not very impressive when I trusted this company with such an important day.
Susan made my wedding cake and it was PERFECT in every way!! We got so many great comments on how beautiful and fun the style of the cake was and especially how delicious the cake tasted. The cake even made it on our DJ??s web site. People are still asking me where I got the cake. Everyone one I know took a picture of the cake and put it on there my space. Amazing! Thank s for helping to make our wedding day fantastic.
