I have taken my two boys here on two different occasions and had a horrible experience both times. I had different people. The haircuts were visibly cut wrong. There was obvious uneven cuts and areas cut so they couldn't be fixed until the hair grew out. I went back the second time hoping that it was just the student and not a reflection of the business. I was wrong. I was also treated as if I was bothering the teacher when she had to come and take my money. I recommend that you keep away. This review is not personal. That is why I went back a second time. Obviously some students do better than others. The purpose of insider pages to report on MY experience. After the second time with the same result, I needed to voice my opinion. I did tell them I was unhappy and nothing was done. Hopefully they now have a different woman in charge. Although I find it very telling that when I posted my experience, the instructor posted that it was personal instead of making an effort to fix the problem or at least discover the problem.
If you have a large enough need, this is a great way to go. It isn't cost effective if you don't use a lot, especially with Sam's Wholesale in town now. But if you use a lot, Sysco is great and delivery is a blessing.
Many are 24 hours but not the Norman store. You can do many things, but getting help is next to impossible. I know someone who worked there and they know they should have more people to help, but are unwilling to pay someone. They focus more on businessess where they make more money.
THis is the best place to buy athletic shoes. We drive from Norman to Edmond just to go here. They are specially trained here and can find the exact shoe for your specific needs. Podiatrists recommend them often. Don't buy anything less than a 700 series of NB shoes since they dont have the same quality. The lass, or mold for the women's shoes are made differently allowing for a better fit. They've been the best thing for my flat footed son.
This is a good store for cheap shoes, which I like to buy. The variety isn't the greatest, but I don't have trouble finding something I like. Service isn't great, but it is a serve yourself kind of place.
I like to shop there for clothing or fun stuff for the house, but the shoe selection isn't so grand. The prices for their shoes are higher than I would expect from a store of that caliber.
THis is the best pool in Norman. They have a great slide (although they charge extra to use it) and three different diving boards in a special pool, so you don't disturb the swimmers and floaters. Great place for kids. I didn't like having to leave and go out into the parking lot for 30 minutes to wait for the evening session that started at 6:30pm
The food here is great. I really enjoyed it and had lots to take home. The service however has been horrible. I have been back and got the same results. The first time, we didn't even get our salads. The second time half the order was wrong. It was corrected and we enjoyed it.
I tried to save a few pennies at the other guys and regretted it. Their prices are only very slightly higher but the quality of work is fabulous. They do repairs and even remember my name. You can sign up for weekly email discount coupons. I ended up getting the best and saving pennies too!
I tried them several times beacuse they are close and finally gave up. They are not friendly and the shop has a funny odor to it. The prices aren't that great and the workmanship was less than standard.
