Wellington Pub
The Wellington has a good menu and reasonable prices. The drinks are good and I have never had a problem finding a seat. Not sure what the nightlife is like there, but the dinner hour is fair.
Shamrock Irish Pub
The Shamrock Irish Pub has been around for a very long time and has a rich history of serving the community. It is a friendly place that can get loud, even obnoxious. But you can't beat the burgers and beers!
Jamboozies Sports Bar & Grill
Another great place to catch a local band and dance. The food and ambiance are average, but the bands usually make up for that. Check this one out if you like the local rock n' roll scene.
Checkers Bar & Grill
Checkers is the former Paperclip Lounge and has a long traditional of hosting the best bar bands in the area. The food is average and plentiful, while the drinks are reasonable. Check this place out for the crowd and dancing!
Heroes Bar N Grill
This place has an excellent burger and the a grilled cheese sandwich comes with three halves. My colleague and I used to meet there for lunch regularly and were never disappointed.
Baile Corcaigh Irish Rstrnt
This place is spectacular! I highly recommend it for the food and the ambiance. Owners Leo and Sharon are very personable with their guests, the waitstaff is very experienced (ask for Rocco), and the food is to die for!!! Add to that the handcrafted, no-expense-spared decor and you have a complete package! You have to check this place out!
Malone's Tavern
Malone's is great! It is a friendly neighborhood bar with a wonderful ambience and excellent atmosphere. The food is very good, much better than your typical bar cuisine. You definitely need to stop in for one or two at Malones Tavern!
Gator Jakes
Gator Jakes has great food and a wonderful neighborhood atmosphere. The cajun dishes (Crawfish Ettouffe, Jambalaya, Gumbo, Pasta Orleans, etc.) are excellent! They also offer a wide variety of other menu items, from sandwiches, pizza, full dinners, salads, and appetizers. The bar is large and always hoppin'... Check it out!
Creation's Salon
I have been going to Creations for the past seven years. My stylist Mary Beth, has been working with me for the past 4 years and she is awesome. I highly recommend this full service salon.
