here is a new italian restaurant on US 41 in Bradenton that every one must try. You get all the fresh bread you can eat which they make daily on the premisis, and according to the best server there ( who waited on us) Nikol, They usually make it about once every hour, depending on how busy they are. With the bread you get sundried herbs, which they grow in the back, with some extra virgin olive oil from the Tuscany region poured over it. we had the Fried Calimari for our appitezer, and it actually had flavor it wasnt like the rest of the places where it was rubbery and no flavor. Then on to the entrees. With each you entree you get a choice of soup or salad. I had the soup THE MINESTRONE ROCKS, my wife had a salad with italian dressing, that they make there. the soup is made there daily also. I ordered the penne ribera, but w/o the marinara, instead had the garlic butter sauce, with artichokes added to it. My wife had the Fettacini Alfredo. All thier sauces they make right then when the meal is ordered. Well we happen to come in one Wednesday where if you order 2 entrees you get a free bottle of wine. So we had a White Zinfindel. For a house wine it was great. We couldn't finish the meal and got a box to take it all home. Our server, Nikol, was kind enough to put some of the fresh rolls and some of the oil and herbs in a box to go too. So then she offered dessert and coffee. We both a cappiccino. and some tirmisu. WOW. And again they make all right there on the premisis. Our bill before the tip was 56.00. the service was outstanding, the experiance was great, and i recommend it to every one. It is Vaccarros on US 41 in Bradenton next to the econo lodge, and across from burger king. they are only open for dinner tuesday - sunday. I recommend you ask for Nikol. The other servers werent as friendly looking. I hope every one goes and enjoys this true Itailan food. It is not a chain so they treat you like family.
