Mike's Truck Outfitters/Line-X
I went there to get my truck bed sprayed with Line-X. I also bought a nice lumber rack--happiness is a big sturdy rack that can be directly loaded with a fork lift. They did an excellent job with the Line-X and they installed the rack too. I cannot yet comment on the longevity or strength of the Line-X, but it looks great and feels quite tough. The biggest trick is in how they spray it, and these guys seem to know what they are doing. Mike is very easy to get along with and can get you any truck-related accessory, tool boxes, hitches, steps, covers, etc. I have no affiliation with this business, just a happy customer. (If you want the other end of the spectrum, go to Skip's Tire on Blossom Hill road so you can get lied to and cheated.)

I went to the store on 970 Blossom Hill Road in San Jose, I had found them through their web site: www.rims-n-tires.com. They had referred me to their store called "1000 rims", and these guys are also known as "Blossom Hill Goodyear"... there is a reason they have so many names! I went down to haggle a bit and get a good price on a set of rims and tires for my truck. The store manager Pat offered me a deal at about 60 less than their internet price--considering that I was local and this is a repeat business. 5 days later, the parts arrived, I went in to have it installed. All went well, but at the very last minute he gave me a bill for $120 more than the agreed to price--at that point they had the tires on the truck already. The lying jerk completely denied everything, even charging more than their advertised internet price. While I was there, I noticed that these crooks are very careful not to put any prices in writing, until after they have done the work... quite stupid when you think about it, they cheated me out of $120, but lost about $5000 in business that I would have given them in the next three years. Save yourself the trouble, do not deal with these jerks. I guess they will be changing their name again to hide from the BBB.
