Bells Book Store

Ok, you know those mysterious bookstores where you see one you never noticed it before, so you go in and they have a book of strange and forgotten lore, and you buy it, and then when you get it home, weird eldritch things start happening, and so you go back to the store for an explanation, but they're not there and it's just a Chinese laundry and they never heard of any bookstore on that block? Yeah, it's like that.

I went in with a friend once, and she found a rare book of Japanese shibori techniques that she'd been looking for forever. And there it was, right on the front counter. On special. And right next to it was a rare book on furniture that *I* had been looking for for seven years. On special. And the sequel, which I didn't even know existed, was right next to it. The store itself is incredible, with bookshelves up to the ceiling and ladders to take you to them, and balconies and galleries full of books and whatever you're looking for, they probably have it. Terry Pratchett fans will recognize it as a nexus in L-space. Like I said, they're so good it's spooky.

So if you can find it, and it's not a Chinese laundry that day, go take a look.
