Green Street Restaurant

I can start off with the Iced Tea, you may say Tea but yes..It is great and with a wonderful HUGE Salad how can you go wrong. Let us mention the atmosphere..Great I love to sit outside in the morning or evening it doesn't matter they have heat lamps that are great. They have tasty breakfasts and they have a grilled cheese to die for. If you are in Pasadena or not, go and you will not be disappointed. The wait staff is wonderful too, and if you would like to sit inside they have a great ambiance in there also. I have been a customer of theirs since the 1980's when they were on Green St.

California Pizza Kitchen

This is a great restaurant the selection is wonderful and the meals are proportioned perfectly. I always get the Broccoli and sun dried tomato fusilli but have Spinach Noodles instead of the fusilli.
They have great salads and the bread it a plus too.
The lemonade is to die for, and so is the flavored iced tea.
You must go and have lunch.

Ghirardelli square

What a great place!!! What more could you ask for Chocolate all around you. They have a wonderful selection and you can even watch them make the concoctions. We took our Girl Scout Troop up to Bridge to Cadettes and walk across the Golden Gate Bridge and literally while planning the itinerary this was the major stop for us.
It was wonderful that it is so close to Fisherman's Wharf but I have a feeling we would have gotten there anyway.
They really do have the best Chocolate and always they give you a sample on the way in probably to get you in the chocolate mood but if you can go in and not buy, you are a better person than me.
Pros: Yummy/Clean
Cons: 10 hours away from me

Claim Jumper Restaurant

I love this place....Well mainly the Bar. The atmosphere is great in the bar. You can have a meeting, enjoy a appetizer or just sit back and have the Best Long Island Iced Tea in the World.
I have been spoiled by them in regards to their Long Islands
I won't order one from anywhere else and can say I don't really even like them....but they do something special to make theirs taste GREAT!!!!
I have a few meetings there and always like to choose the bar area the service is great and there is a indoor outdoor area that is very spacious and can accommodate many people.
The restaurant is great too and we usually split everything there including the dinner salad. A Lot of food. Oh and the desserts are to die for!!!! Split those too.
Pros: Great Bar
Cons: Some wait time

Vromans Bookstore

This store is one of the smaller ones, but is well worth the parking hassle ( in shopping center with Sears, Starbucks, and Whole Foods)
I go in often and one particular time was for my Husbands birthday. He wanted a specific book. I knew nothing about it and the girl there took about 10 minutes of un interrupted time to help me. When we finally figured out what it was that I wanted they even had a signed copy of it!!!
This really is a great chain and this store is one of the best.
Pros: Helpful staff
Cons: Parking

Target

You can usually find what you need at this Target, but if you down the street you will find better prices and better service at Wal Mart.
You have a huge problem if you do not have the receipt for an exchange. The checkers are very sweet but the management has a lot to be desired. You don't feel like they take you seriously. Many times I have called to make sure they have a product to and they say yes, to find out when I get there it is not even on the shelf???
Like I said I prefer the other.

Old Spaghetti Factory

This is the place for the family for sure!!! The prices are great the staff is incredible and the Management is magnificent!!! Jen Smith is the Manager we deal with and she is always there when we go in. She seems to find us when we are dining to make sure we are all taken care of.
The children's menu is great and more than my girls can usually eat so it is a plus, we get to take it home for lunch the next day. I like the old favorite of Spaghetti and Marinara. I usually get the Broccoli with butter and Mizithra and it is a wonderful side dish. Sometimes I get such a craving for it.
You get a lot for your money and they have a great reading program. If you child reads 5 books, fills out a form, you sign it, and you get the child's meal for fee. Can't beat that.

Pottery Ranch Inc

I love this place. I found huge pots to match exactly my home colors for outside which was not easy. I took literally an hour looking and choosing. They are very helpful and the prices are great. Some you have to watch but overall it is a steal. I have even been able to find my Grandmothers everyday china here and replace what was broken or missing. Great Place, Not Pottery Barn though you may have to dig and it is a bit dusty but you will find your personal treasure.

Quiec Charlyn Dds

Dr. Q has been our dentist since she opened her office in Monrovia. We were literally one of her first Families. She is definitely the very best you can get in a Dentist and Person. She has excellent chair side manor, which comes in handy with our 12 year old that is mucho afraid of the dental work. We have a 7 year old that looooves to go into the office and see Dr. Q, she is not hesitant at all. My husband and I also are patients of hers and love her.
I often stop in just to say hello, she is centrally located in Monrovia, behind Unraveled and Peach Cafe. In a Cute, Ultra Clean office space with convenient parking right in front of her office door.
She is a dentist that will go the EXTRA Mile for you. Her work is beautiful. I have a crown on my front tooth and I would not have gotten a crown if I was not 100% sure that she would make it look like the real thing.

The office is STATE of the ART with all of the NEWEST equipment. Her Staff makes you feel as if you are family. You always get a reminder call about your appointment and a call after you have had any work done to make sure you are okay.
Your Dentist is a important part of your major Health Care if something is wrong with your mouth, you can also have many things go wrong with your body.
She is in constant communication with you if anything has changed with your medical condition that could effect your teeth and gums.
She has wonderful referrals for specialists if you need it.
You can not go wrong with this Dentist. SHE IS SIMPLY THE BEST BY ALL ACCOUNTS. You must go see her if you want only TOP QUALITY work done on you and your whole family.

Pavilions

You can get everything you need at one place. Some things are pricey but you are not at Wal-Mart. They have great quality and I am there almost everyday. They make you feel at home and are always asking if they can help you find something. All of my RX"s are with them. The Pharmacy is very knowledgeable and super friendly.
I could shop at other supermarkets but chose not to and I will always go to my Pavilions.
They now have a Starbucks located inside that I frequent, even when I am not grocery shopping I go into it and grab my Chai Latte. The employees know my drink by heart. It is wonderful.
