Sapporo Restaurant
In my opinion Sapporo is one of the best restaurants on the west side of Las Vegas. It's spotlessly clean and has a tremendous variety of foods. You can order sushi or a full dinner that can range from Pacific Rim to Lamb Chops. They offer regular table service and also have a number of cook at your Teppan Tables with a full show!
Their appetizers are great and they have a low cost menu as well as half priced drinks during their happy hour from 4 to 7 and their 'reverse happy hour' that begins sometime between 10 and 11 PM and extends till closing.
They also have a bar that's faces an outside seating area. It's a grat place to go!
King & I
We've eaten at the King and I at the Lakes many times. This restaurant is small and cozy. The owner/host Linda can always remember what we ordered and how we like it. Some of my favorites are the Larb (spiced, chopped chicken) salad, the Tom Yum Gom (hot and sour) soup and the Bankok Connection (much like Thai fajitas.)
This is one of our favorites in a city with tons of restaurants.
