We highly recommend Juli and her staff to anyone who wants professional, reliable and caring home pet care! We have 2 border collies who needed a mid-day break for potty and play so we contacted Paw Prints. Juli came to our home to meet our dogs and discuss our needs. We had been having a problem with our one young BC urinating on the carpet in the evenings and decided he neeeded to get outside 4 hours or so after we left for work. It worked so well - he stopped his inside accidents and both dogs seemed so much happier with this break in their day by someone who really cared for them, lavished affection on them during their walk and backyard play. Paw Prints even gives you a journal which they write in every day to let you know how the day went, what your pets did that day, etc. Such a nice touch! Juli was flexible with us in our schedules if we decided to be home one day during the week, and would give us credit for that day on the next month's bill. I can say enough about what a great solution this was for our family. Prices are totally reasonable for what we got in return. We are moving to Idaho soon and I hope there is someone who can provide the same level of care when we need it.
VP Nails has recently remodeled the place, which is a definite plus as the reviewer below stated, it was totally unsatisfactory, employees not getting along, bad vibes, poor service, old bottles of polish. The new crew int here now don't seem to have their customer service up to par as far as handling the volume of customers. I was there recently and the American receptionist was not good at communicating your place in que, nor in telling new customers how long a wait. Only 2 nails techs working on a weekend day - that's crazy. And the guy doing my nails had dirt under his nails and his hands were sticky. Time will tell if they will improve or just be the same place with new furnishings. My nails were rushed and not completely smooth and the guy's polish job with a dark color was poor enough that I redid my polish when I got home.
I have gone to ZaZa Nail Spa since they opened and the last visit is definitely the very last. During my pedicure, two very sloppy dressed male techs were working on repairing other pedicure chairs, pulling off parts and trying to get under the bowls. Not a relaxing time at all. And then these same guys go to the nail tables without washing their hands, and the one who thought he would do my nails actually had dirt under his nails. I asked him to please wash his hands and he acted like I was being insulting. Cindy, who is the owner, has never run a clean place, from back when she was running Q Nails.
I have tried Nail Perfection 5-6 times now to give myself enough time to make an informed decision. I find the techs work so quickly that they miss the small inperfections that make the difference between acceptable and great looking nails. Not enough time was spent on making sure my nails were truly smooth, nor drimmeled down around the cuticles so that the outgrowth would not have large ridges. Too many other salons to put up with this one.
