The Opener

I just started taking Yoga classes in The City a little over a month ago. I was worried that this Yoga Hike was going to leave me in the dirt & not in a good "Child's Pose" (I think that's what I'm talking about) way. Instead, there were butterflies, a rainbow, one very adorable schnoodle, a park I never knew existed & an amazing instructor. And while the schnoodle, Sophie, alone is worth the trip over the bay, I'll be going back b/c of Domonick. I never felt out of my element, I enjoyed every breath I took, & my body was worked. But not in a bad way, in a good "oh there's that muscle" type of way. The next day I was able to go dancing from dusk 'til dawn. Literally. But that's another story, err, review.

I just don't have the vocab to do justice to Domonick, the gift he has for body work, yoga, & making one nervous beginner very excited & not at all nervous for the next time.
