I love this place. A little hole in the wall and difficult to locate at first. Bonnie is so nice and loves animals. You can trust you pet is in good hands when you bring them there. She does a great job at making them smell great! My dog loved going to get bathed and trimmed. He is not around anymore but we will absolutely take our next dog there!
This is the second location. The first was in Montclair they did so well that they opened up a second. Fresh homemade ice cream with all the fixings. Frozen yogurt as well. A little pricey but worth the trip once in a while for a treat.
All I can say about Gencarellis is if you go their on a holiday, you better get there at 6am!! Everyone in the surrounding area knows Gencarellis. They make fantastic bakery items, including crumb cakes that are to die for! Every Sunday my dad would go and get sticky buns and crumb cakes for us (I think he wanted it more!) Great place to get last minute party cakes, cupcakes or cookies.
Great Italian food with a warm comfortable, romantic atmosphere. You can take out also if it gets crowded. Still great food to eat at home! Prices are fair and I believe it's BYOB.
This is the place to stay if you visit New Hampshire. We skiied Mt. Washington but you don't have to ski to visit Christmas Farm Inn (but it sure is FUN!) Cross county skiing in nice too if downhill is too wild for you. This place is so relaxing and the spa if fabulous! Great food and great atmosphere. I would love to go back someday!
This place was always a traditional stop when we skied Vail. The east coast doesn't have places like this so we soaked it up when we were there. You order your sides, appetizers and drinks with the waitress. The you go over to the butcher and place your order for grill it yourself along with some yummy bread with lots of melted butter. You get yourself a beer and hang by the grill. You meet lots of people from all over the US and abroad along with the locals. So much fun and ALWAYS a great time and great food!
This is a really enjoyable stop to make if your visiting Palm Beach. Especially if you have kids. Great ice cream and friendly service. You can get your ice cream and walk around and check out the rest of the shops.
This is a really fun place just to walk around in and see all the variety of specialty foods they have. Once I went in and got a chocolate brownie to try. Wow! I have never had such a rich delicious, chocolatey brownie. They make Blondies, too! I'm sure everyone knows the owner who has a show on The Food Network. Fabulous place to check out if you visit East Hampton.
I live nowhere near East Hampton, but when I visit I ALWAYS go to Sams. They have great pizza. Very fresh and homeade tasting. But the meatball is outstanding. Very simple but delicious! A hot spot in the summer season.
Everyone who lives in the area knows Holstens. A traditional ice cream parlor where you can get burgers, sandwiches, soup and of course---delicious ice cream. Made famous for their cameo in Sopranos.
I am not sure if they still do this but a long time ago (25 years) they used to have a Easter Bunny waving outside. Yup I had that job at 16 years old. My favorite job! I must say I felt very important! So much fun and I got to have my ice cream for free!
Definetly a place to try.
