Freytag's Balcones Woods Flor
My husband sent me a flower arrangement from Freytags on our last anniversary. I don't know how much he spent, but the arrangement was absolutely lovely and unique (no baby's breath in sight).
Aziz Salon & Day Spa
I went here on a Sunday when I couldn't find many other places open who did both haircuts and manicures. The place was in chaos that day because the computer systems were down, but this didn't affect the service I received (although I could hear other irate customers having troubles). My hair stylist there did a great job. And while my manicure & pedicure were also acceptable, the equipment they used was rather run-down and dated. It didn't feel like a pampering experience. It felt like I was having a manicure done at a friends house instead of a "spa."
Daya Day Spa
I love the decor in the spa! It is a very relaxing place to drop by at the end of a hectic morning or afternoon. I read another review about the staff being lukewarm, but I've never had that problem at Daya. All of the staff I've encountered have been very friendly and helpful.
Clean Air Limo
I travel every week for business and have tried a lot of limo services in the Austin area. In general, I have had mixed experiences. Last week, though, I tried Clean Air Limo for the first time. What can I say--these guys are top notch! My flight was 3 hours late, but the Clean Air Limo driver knew about it already and was there to meet me when I arrived. The car was very clean and the driver did a great job getting through Austin traffic without jostling me and my computer around. I will definitely use this service again!
