Try Jacob's omelet. It is huge and packed full of carnitas, black beans, peppers and topped off with salsa. It was a surprisingly delicious combo. Pork, beans and peppers - who knew!? :)
I'll have to try lunch next time. My wife loved her California burger.
For a Sunday, it was busy but we found a table right away. I was impressed when they brought out two glasses full of soda for each of us (one with ice, one without). Very smart as it kept us from having to wait for refills.
My wife and I were looking for a new Chinese restaurant when we came across Keng's. She loves Chow Mein, but it must be cooked in the brown sauce. Fortunately, she was not disappointed. I had the wing combo and wonton soup. Everything was hot and tasted very fresh. Word of warning - the soup bowls are very large, so make sure you have a big appetite if you get a meal and soup :)
The restaurant itself is pretty small, with 7 or 8 booths and one table, so keep that in mind when considering takeout versus dining in. You may get lucky like we did and find an open table right away.
The food is fantastic but this place never seems to be all that busy. Probably because it's way up in Rogers :) The servers always seem very friendly and attentive. As good as the chips are, be careful not to fill up on them the food is even better. Fortunately, the food is quick to arrive.
If you get up in this neck of the woods, be sure to check it out.
This place was a pleasant surprise after a long day on the road. Its an older restaurant, and it has kind of a small town feel despite having a large amount of seating.
The food was very good, though it might benefit from spicier dishes. I'll be sure to stop in again the next time I'm passing through.
I was in the process of looking for a new place to buy fish when I stopped by Aqualand.
Right off the bat, I was really impressed with how healthy the fish looked. I couldn't help staring at some of the fish for quite a while, and failed to see any that looked sick. They have a TON of freshwater fish, with some color combinations that I didn't really think were possible (think Phantom Tetras, except that they had lots of blue).
If you are looking for saltwater, this may not be the place for you as that section is quite small by comparison (hence 4, not 5 stars).
I haven't purchased anything yet, as I am still looking at other stores. But I think I will probably end up buying my fish here.
