Krnjaic Nada Md - Internal Medicine & Lab Diag

Phoenix, AZ Internal Medicine Physicians 07/01/08: 'you WILL wait'

Very nice woman. Sally at the front is also great. However, the office is small and cramped. You will wait forever to be seen, even if you are the first appointment! She is very laid back, maybe too much because sometimes I feel like I know more than her? Even though you wait, it is easy to get an appointment.

Alta Vista Animal Hospital

I have had many visits with many different rescue dogs and my own dogs.
Loved it at first because of one very compassionate and knowledgeable tech named Jen. Unfortunately she is not there every time I have been.
Regardless, I have waited for hours to be seen even with an appointment. I waited an hour for a scheduled xray. I bothered the girl at the front about when i would be seen for the xray she suggested i just leave the dog and come back later. I told her i knew the xray would only take ten minutes to which she snottily replied it took for than ten. Not true. I finally got back and it took five minutes! Many times I have had to initiate the conversation to get any information from the vet. I, too, have gotten conflicting opinions. I do feel like they are wanting to milk every penny they can get. I am not sure I will return. If I could be guaranteed I would have Jen as a tech I might return. She keeps her appointments running smoothly. In the mean time, I will continue my search for the five star practice.

Squaw Peak Animal Hospital

Phoenix, AZ Animal Hospitals - Phoenix, AZ Veterinarians 06/26/07: 'interesting experience'

This vet specializes in large breeds. We took our Newfoundland to him when she had a shoulder problem. My husband and I took her and we saw the older male doctor. The vet spoke to my husband the entire time and would not even look at me. When I asked a question, he addressed my husband with the answer. My husband even noticed so he kept looking at me, but the vet did not catch the hint. It was very odd, mostly because I am the one with the science degree who knew what to ask, who directed the questions, and was paying the bill! At the end of the visit he finally looked at me and gave me a wink...
Sexist with a very expensive bill, will not return even though I am sure he is a fantastic large breed doctor.

Banfield The Pet Hospital

I work with a rescue group and have been to many different vets. I do not need to do low cost for my own pets, so I take them to this particular hospital. I live 20 miles from them, but the vet at this Banfield was recommended so I tried him. I continue to return because he is wonderful, his techs are wonderful, the front desk women are wonderful, and they can see me in a moments notice. I highly recommend them. They are also not very expensive as I have tried several other vets that are closer and these guys are right on the mark with their pricing. LOVE THEM!

Chandler Small Animal Clinic

I took two sick turtles to this clinic because they specialized in small animals. I had to take them twice to get a series of shots. My sister took them the first time and warned me that the vet was a scientologist who spent most of his time trying to convert her. I took them in the second time where the vet tech gave the turtle a shot incorrectly that temporarily (about a month) paralyzed his arm. Once Dr. Benesh came in he proceeded to pull out a book about scientology and tell me that the world was a mess these days because of anti-depressants. The guy is a flipping nut and the staff is nuts to be working along side him. The front desk people were not friendly or helpful. And the doctor did spend more time trying to get me to read his scientology picture book than he did caring for the pets. They were supposed to go back one more time and I decided to take the risk and not return... he was that freaky. If you go, be prepared for an attempted conversion. They get one star because at least they are in the business to help animals.

Van Aken Pet Hospital

I chose this hospital because I was fixing five dogs for a neighbor who could not afford to fix them himself. I read the other reviews and was expecting it to be dirty because of the one review. I found it to be very respectable. The people were very friendly. I was able to get the dogs taken care of in one day. The price was very low, which is GREAT for spay and neuter. I would recommend them for anyone who needed to get a dog or cat altered. I saw no broken or blinking lights. The place was clean enough. Every one was friendly. I am with-holding the 5th star because nothing is perfect.
