Rochester Laser Spa
The Rochester Laser Spa charged me $1,770.00 to laser remove the hair from my daughter's underarms and bikini area. We were told it would take approx. 8 treatments, and if it possibly took more, no problem since they would continue treatments until all of the hair was gone. After two years, and 23 very painful treatments (one which actually BURNED my daughter due to the use of the wrong laser) my daughter has as much hair as the day we walked into their facility. All throughout this time, when the treatments weren't working, we questioned what was going on and we were given excuse after excuse---"You need to come in more often," or "Your daughter is too sensitive to the treatments so we can't rasie the laser level high enough," and the last ridiculous excuse was "Your daughter has Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and it's not our fault and if you want to continue treaments we have to charge you more." Once I heard this last excuse, I asked for a refund because it was obvious that the laser wasn't working on her. The Rochester Laser Spa refused to give us a refund stating that I signed a contract that states "refunds are not given once the treatments have begun." I am now taking them to small claims court to sue for the $1,770.00 that we paid and received nothing in return, except years of pain and disappointment. If you go to the BBB.org website you can see photos how much hair my daughter still has, and you will see the insulting way in which Mr. Spitale has treated us throughout this whole process. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with the Rochester Laser Spa unless you want to waste your money and be lied to when trying to get good customer service.
Physical Edge
Staff is very knowledgeable and treatment is very effective...would highly recommend them for treatment of muscle soreness/injuries.
J & P Upholstering
We hired J & P Upholstering to re-upholster a chair that had worn out, but the frame was still in good condition. The chair looks brand-new, and you would think it was purchased like it is. We were very happy.
New Yorker's Pancake & Grill
We recently went to the New Yorkers Pancake and Grill for brunch on Sunday, and we had a very nice meal. The atmosphere is typical diner, but very clean, and the food was good.
Yaeger Rug & Furniture Cleaners Inc
We used Yaeger Rug & Furniture to clean our wool area rug recently. Someone had spilled some red colored drink on it, and I had tried everything to get it out. Unfortunately, I should have called Yaeger first---they were able to get the stain out easily, but my efforts damaged the fibers. Next time, I'll call them first.
Dun Travlin Ranch & Kennels
If you want a kennel that takes good care of your dog, for a reasonable price Dun Travlin is the place to go. He won't get any pampering, or "TV time" but he'll be put in a large run, that is warm and dry, and comfortable. The dogs don't contact each other (so no chance of fleas or kennel cough), but they can "socialize" through their fences. For under $10 a day, you can't beat it.
Charlie Riedel's Fast Food
We have always been a fan of Charlie's in Webster, so when we were in Canandaigua, we gave their second location a try. It is the same as the first---good fast food, friendly staff, reasonable prices.
Tom Wahl's Restaurants
With all the choices at the Eastview Mall foodcourt, we always pick Tom Wahl's. You can always count on good food, cooked fresh and fast. They have a nice selection of specialty cheeseburgers that it's hard to pick a favorite.
Tool's Restaurant
I grew up in Delmar, NY and Tools was a favorite restaurant of ours. The atmosphere is very nice, but family friendly. Now, when I visit the area, I take my family there. The faces have changed, but the great food and welcoming atmosphere is still the same.
Zoom Tan
I will use Golden Tans each time we go on vacation and want to get a base tan before we go. Their prices are reasonable, and I have never had to wait for a tanning bed.
