Jordan Pond House
We stopped for lunch at Jordan Pond House while visiting Acadia National Park in Maine. The food was delicious - great pop-overs with ice cream! A very beautiful setting to enjoy a relaxing lunch!
Scottish Inn
While traveling through New England this summer we stayed at the Scottish Inn in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. It was very reasonably priced. The room was adequate though the bathroom was small. But it was very clean. They offer coffee, tea, cereal, and packaged pastries for their continental breakfast. I would stay there again.
Falmouth Inn
While in Maine for a soccer tournament this summer, we stayed at the Falmouth Inn. What a pleasant surprise - the price was very reasonable, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms looked like they were just refurbished and very clean. A great place to stay while visiting Maine.
Dick Ide Pontiac Inc
We purchased a Honda Civic from Dick Ide Honda 2 years ago and have been very happy with our car. The staff is very personable. We usually go to our local mechanic but anytime we have gone to the service dept at Dick Ide we have been very pleased with their work and professional atmosphere.
Towner's
Towners is a bike shop on University Avenue in Rochester. I purchased my bike from Towners several years ago but still take it back when it needs maintenance. The employees are very knowledgeable and personable. They have a wide variety of bikes and biking merchandise for sale.
Genesee Country Village-Museum
Spend a day at the Genesse County Village and Museum and you will not only have fun but find it very educational. You will learn about life in the early 1800s while walking through the buildings and houses. Guides will teach you about the trades, businesses and every day life. There are even hands on activities for children, such as playing with the toys children used. It's fun for all ages.
Cottone Auctions
Cottone Auctions in Mt Morris, NY is a top notch auction house. They offer highly quality antiques so prices can be expensive. We find the auctions run smoothly and the people are very helpful and friendly.
Rocky Gorge 4 Seasons Golf
Our family loves playing mini golf so when we visit our daughter in Maryland we try to play one round at Rocky Gorge. It is a 19 hole mini golf course with the last hole's claiming to be the world's longest hole. Over the past few years a few things have changed- the singing Christmas tree is no longer there nor is "Rocky Gorge" in his cage. It is always busy but we always enjoying playing here.
Rockventures
Rock Ventures offers indoor climbing to people of all ages. My kids love going there. My daughter attended a summer camp and had a great experience. We have found the staff to be very helpful.
Webster Aquatic Center
The Webster Aquatic Center is conveniently located next to Webster Schroeder High School. The staff is friendly and the facilities are always clean. They offer a variety of open swim times.
