Shore Stop
The cashiers are almost always rude and the store doesnt look very clean. There isnt much else to say except don't go there. I bought a money order there one time to pay a bill and i ended up paying with a check so i took the money order back there and they refused to cash it. I used to work at the shore stop in pittsville and i know the policy on money orders. Shore Stop is suposed to cash only money orders they sell, they are blue in color, and not easily mistaken. I got the feeling this woman just wanted to give me trouble, she was complaining about something else very loudly to another cashier when i came in. When you have a bad day you leave it at home when you come to work, thats just how it is.
Dollar General
I like family dollar because its convenient and inexpensive. This particular store is about 7 minutes from my house. I like it because they sell anything from cleaning supplies to toys in there. They even sell clothes now.....given they aren't Macy's quality, but have you ever been out and about with a newborn? Those bottles tend to come up on whatevers nearby (usually mommies shirt). So family dollar is the place to go if you want to get in and out in a hurry.
Panera Bread
This place has the best bread...hence the name panera bread. They bake it fresh every day, and its still warm when you get it. They have really good sandwiches, today I got the portabello and mozzarella panini, and it was a good vegetarian lunch. They have these new chocolate bagels with nuts on top that are to die for too.
Pier Rides
I'm kinda in the middle on this one. They have more games on the pier but as far as rides I think trimpers is the better bet, but I agree that the ferris wheel is something no-one should pass up. All in all its satisfactory.
The Bonfire Restaurant
I haven't been a while because its a little on the expensive side, but it really is a nice place. It's pretty inside and the staff was friendly and the food was yummy..They have vanilla ice cream with a mint liquor on top omg that's good.
Harborside Bar & Grill
I went there with my husband and a couple friends it seems like an ok place when we got there we saw a nice little outside deck with tables and families eating dinner, and when we walked in they had a cute little bar. We drank a couple orange crushes talked for a about an hour and went home. It didnt seem like a rough bar but then again we were there around 5:30 p.m and we didnt stay very long. but the drinks were good and from what we saw the staff was friendly.
Break Time Sports Grill & Pub
I like Break Time because I can go in with a friend after work or on the weekend and talk without having to shout. The TVs are a nice touch and the food is pretty good. I'm not to fond of some of the bands though.
Cactus Club Inc
I like the cactus club. I went there for my 21st and I have been there a couple times since. I just think the covers are higher than most places sometimes, and its soooo loud in there you can't talk with the people you come in with and I always leave with a headache. I have fun while I'm there though and the drinks aren't too high.
Three Lower Counties Community Services Incorporated
I went there for my yearly exams because they were highly affordable to me due to my lower income at the time, but when I went in for one of my visits they told me upon scheduling my appointment that my bill would be 10.00 and then when i came out told me it would be around 80.00. I was shocked because of course I hadn't brought that much money with me, and I was terribly embarrassed. I ended up coming back later that day to pay, but I was told that it was a mistake due to disorganization of the woman at the desk. The medical treatment was accurate and professional but the business aspect of it was not.
Salisbury Super Pet
Super Pet is the place to go for all of your pet needs. They have a large selection pets to choose from. They have birds, rabbits,Guinea pigs, cats, dogs, even iguanas. They also have everything you need to make the perfect home or habitat for whatever pet you chose. They have toys, and treats, and all kinds of cool things. I got my Guinea pigs, Abagail and Lenny from there. I love them to death they are the sweetest pets in the world a little skiddish at first, but cuddly and loving once they get to know you. The staff there know about animals and can give you any advice you need. They honestly care about the animals. I love it at super pet. Its fun just to go in and visit with all the adorable pets.
