La Mexicana Mexican Restaurant

I had good service and it was a bit busy, when they have live music it can be overly loud and ruin the nice quiet evening. The food was great, it was nice and tidey, the prices were reasonable, the margaritas are very yummy!
the cons were the fried icecream is fabulous but they put sprinkles and chocolate syrup on it and kind of ruined it for me but if you say no syrup and sprinkles mmmm....

Zapata's Mexican Restaurant

I went here with high hopes and even gave it a second and third chance always the same, poor service, nice outdoor settings, rude servers, not fond of the indoor setting, not to clean inside, the food was always awfull, the chips were always stale, i once even got moldy salsa mmmmmm... that ended my attempts at this one, drive down the road a bit and go to white castle, its cleaner and better service!

the food was great, the service is fantastic, the prices are outstanding! (low price for the quality and quantity of food)

It could be a little cleaner and that is the only con i can think of, my visits are always remarkable!

I use to bring my father-in-law here alot, I only attempted a meal there a couple times, the service was always fantastic, it was fairly clean, the food however was never real good, most times just to look at it was not to pleasant, the flavor was bland at most or it was just to salty from one extreme to another. Hopefully they can find a good cook one day because the service is remarkable.

they have very good food at a pretty good price. I reccomend this to anyone who has a italian taste bud :) they are polite and if by chance they do have an issue with anything be it service food or anything they will go out of thier way to fix it,
it is a very packed place and woth the wait for the most part.
The service can be a bit slow at times they need to keep a few more people on staff, but there is almost always a wait to be seated, being that busy you can not have a server watching you every minute i suppose.

Oh and any long island ice tea lovers IT IS A MUST TRY from here :)

Oh my golly gosh peoples!I have been here several times for several different occasions from family get togethers to work to simple dining out. The service has lacked every time and often you get a rude waitresses.Most the time they had cold food being ordered off the menu or buffet.You have to hunt down your server to get a refill on your beverage!As far as the famous chicken...... Um find a local Popeyes and you will have much better quality. I am happy people have gotten good service and food but out of the 20+ times I have been there I must say maybe 4 of those times have been moderate at best.I will say it does have a nice look and is always clean though!
