Family owned business for many years. Get a modern haircut with the feel of the old fashioned barber shops. Great with kids and reasonably priced. Our family has gone there for 3 generations.
Privately owned hair salon. Karen cuts and styles hair well and spends time with every client. Really enjoys her work. Has great hair products to give you your best look. Very reasonably priced and flexible with scheduling.
This is the place to go if you have a problem wound related to circulation, diabetes, or a surgical procedure that is not healing. It is the small, personable wound healing center on the south side and the staff is well trained and accomadating to your needs. There are four infectious disease doctors that can consult and treat your wound. The center uses a variety of wound care products to heal your wounds and also has two single-placed hyperbaric oxygen chambers for more problematic wounds.
The doctors in this practice are great to see if you need a specialist. Dr. Timm is very professional and knowledgeable and really takes time to discuss problems. Sometimes the wait for an appointment can be long but he takes time with all his patients and is very thorough.
These are friends of our family and I have had body work done by them twice this year. They are friendly and reasonable and were very accomodating when I needed a rental car. They did all the work for me. Also, my car looks great and I had it back in a few days.
Stone creek coffee is a small coffee roaster based in Milwaukee. We really enjoy there variety of regular blends as well as seasonal selections. The business is smaller and more reasonably priced then some of it's national competitors.
This is a quaint Italian restaurant tucked in one of Milwaukee's oldest Italian neighborhoods. The menu is simple but excellent! The Penna Ala vodka comes highly recommended as does any veal dish on the menu. Reservations would be wise since the dinning room is the size of a large homes dinning room!
Some of the best old world style pizza available in Milwaukee!!! The pizzas here are served in square pans just like back in the old country! Service is great, but bear in mind that this is a neighborhood favorite, and a short wait may be in order. The eggplant is good, and garlic bread authentic. Enjoy!!
BEST gyros on the south side. The portion size at this quaint short order is enough for a family!!!! Also be sure to try the "kabab" also known as the chicken gyro.
