Dr. Paul and his staff are wonderful. They are very caring to all animals. Dr. Paul spent a lot of time explaining to me how to care of my new guinea pig, and was very reasonable priced. When my older cat was dying, he explained all my options, including the time and cost of each option. He prefers to explore the least invasive and least expensive options first.
Susan's photos are natural and fun. She is fun for the kids. She is no-nonsense - not a lot of fancy equipment, but the use of natural light and settings. It is clear she really enjoys photographing kids and families. She has done the individual and class photos for our preschool for 6 years.
Dr. Wells is very thorough in her review of patient history. She is especially good for dance related or sports related issues. She understands a patient's limitations of time and finances. She and her staff are very nice and caring.
This place has saved me so many times! This drop-off day care is great if you need a couple of hours to shop, go to a doctor's appointment, have a date with your spouse, or if you just need a break! My kids love it! There are some organized activities, but generally the kids just play. Sometimes the staff will do face-painting. It can be a bit noisy and wild, but the staff does a good job of working with the kids on safety and kindness.
My kids and I have been a part of this preschool for the past 8 years. The school has had a strong director/teacher for the last 5 years and its core of committed parents have helped to foster a program that is warm, friendly, and fun! This group of families care for each child as their own, and support each other through life's challenges. The kids learn through a play-based model, which encourages each child's abilities, but exposes them to many different opportunities. The parent education is excellent. There are a lot of committments for the families, but the friendships and support received from the other families and the director and teacher far out-weigh the extra hours.
This small K-8 school is an excellent alternative to traditional public school education. Parents participate in the classroom, and the curriculum is flexible and hands-on. The classes go on field trips, and many extras are offered thanks to the dedicated staff and parents in the community (such as knitting, dance, drama, Spanish). The small community is supportive and friendly.
I've only used stylist Tracy S. but she is very nice, fast, and does a lovely job on color and cut. She can cut curly or straight hair, and I have been very happy with my color. She also does my kids, including my very active 4-year old! She is quite busy, so be sure to call ahead a couple of weeks.
This lovely little dance studio is friendly, warm, encouraging, and offers dancers young and old the opportunity to take classes and perform. The ballet classes are fun and all levels are welcome. There are also other forms of dance offered - flamenco, Indian, bollywood, Irish, pilates. Donna, the owner, who teaches most of the ballet classes gives good corrections to dancers. Her annual performance of The Maiden's Visit (21 years!) gives dancers the opportunity to strive for new roles, and perfect old roles. It is not a typical dance recital, but a beautifully choreographed ballet, with amazing costumes and sets.
