I have been with Metrocast for a year and have had the service I expected from them. I've had three occasions to call their customer service and had very professional service from them. Over the years I have used several different TV/Phone/Internet companies and I would put Metrocast at the top of the list of them.
Action Title handled the closing on our home purchase (4/10) and did a good job. They worked closely with our mortgage company and kept us fully informed. My wife and I worked in Real Estate in another state and have a lot of experience working with Title Companies. We were happy with the service we received from Action Title and recommend them to others.
I find Kristos to be an excellent place to eat or to get carry out. The food is great, the service is quick and it's hard to beat the prices. For instance, right now (4/20/10) pizza's and subs are on sale 50% off. They deliver too. Their meat balls are to die for.
Very nice laundromat. They have an attendant that keeps the place clean and provides the additional service of doing a wash and fold. I've used the wash & fold service for over a year and have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. Price is very reasonable and they are quite accommodating. Recently they have modified their attendants hours so you need to check to make sure they will be there when you are. They do a great job and I can recommend them, actually I DO recommend them.
Being a local I visit Calefs regularly. Year round there are a lot of tourist so sometimes parking can be a problem. In the back they make a wonderful chicken/walnut salad. If you're old enough to remember stores with wooden floors, penny candy and a pickle barrel, you'll wake up a lot of memories. If you're not that old, at least you'll have a chance to shop the way old folks did. Of course, at today's prices.
This particular Walmart has recently enlarged their aisles and have taken pains to keep the place picked up. Their food selection is great and they make their French Bread daily, it's bigger than Market Basket's and less expensive! Garden shop has a good selection too.
For those of you old enough to remember neighborhood stores, this is one of them.
They have a large butcher staff that will give you any cut you want. They have "packages" if you like to buy your meat in bulk and freeze it. They even make fresh soup daily.
It's bigger than the normal 7-11, better stocked with fresh produce and fruit and you can even get your lottery tickets there too.
It is worth the trip for their meat. Just off the green in Rochester. They make great soup and have the best cuts of meat in the county,.
I have used Jiffy Lube several times. They were good the first time I used them (that's why I returned) and each time I use them they get better. They keep computer records of my vehicle and the work done on it. They also have the mfg's recommendations in their computer.
For instance, I never new there was an air filter that filtered the outside air that came in through your vents. Well, my Toyota RV4 was shown in their computer to recommend a change at a certain mileage. Sure enough, when we looked at the filter, it was pretty dirty.
I have never had a problem with anything they have worked with. I recommend them for fast, friendly service.
I've used this location several times. It takes several days for their service. They do not offer next day service. It is easy to get in and out with the help of the stop light and circular drive in the front.
The employees are friendly and helpful.
The Care in Rochester is about a half mile from the hospital. The recent (2008/9) installation of a traffic light makes it easy to get in and out.
Several times I have had to return because they did not have what was prescribed, on hand. It would usually only take a day or so for them to obtain what I needed,.
They have a home health care section that appears to be well stocked. We got a wheel chair and a walker from them. We also bought an oximeter from them and was disappointed when it broke down and they would not help us replace it. We had to contact the manufacturer ourselves.
On weekends they often have no staff in the home health care section. You may be unable to obtain items from that section if the payer is Medicare. I had a problem one Saturday morning. Limited number of staff are Medicare approved so I had to wait almost 3 days to obtain nebulizer items.
They have a wide collection of gifts, cards and home made fudge.
