Savannah-Chanelle Vineyards
I have been a member of the Savanah Chanel(le) wine club on and off for a number of years. They are reasonably priced for the wine quality.
They specialize in Pino, Syrah and Zin. The have 100+ year old wine vines on the estate.
Cinnabar Vineyards & Winery
The Cinnabar tasting room is located in Saratoga and the winery further up highway 9.
I particularly like the Mercury Rising, their signature mass market wine.
Other wines are very good but over-priced. If you can get to the winery, (during Santa Cruz Vinters festival), they are located on top of a hill with a great view, there is also wine caves, with possible tour.
Cooper Garrod Estate Vineyards
I have been following this winery for 10 years and the wine has been consistently one of the poorer wines in the Santa Cruz mountains.
At issue is a chemical flavor that I cannot place, possibly Acetone, which is throughout all their wines.
