Roberto's Taco Shop
Open 24 hours, my husband is a big fan of Roberto's for a "graveyard shift" lunch run. Food is made fast and fresh by the most friendly people in the business. We tried Roberto's as a family the other night and the total was right around $20. That is less than our family of 5 can eat at a traditional fast food burger joint. They have a salsa bar where you can add your own spiciness and condiments to customize your order. My kids loved their shredded beef nachos, loaded with cheese, peppers and onions. A great value for some fresh fast food.
Jeremiah Johnsons Restaurant & Tavern
We like this restaurant for their laid back atmosphere with a touch of class. It is not your regular bar and grill. Bar area is separated from the main dining areas by a large window and features a HUGE television for watching that all important sporting event. The food is wonderful, everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. We have gone there as a family before, but would recommend leaving the kids at home for a more enjoyable time. The prices are a little high for our family budget, but definitely worth it as a treat. An overall good value though for a night out.
Vaughn Orchard
Vaughn's Orchard is a great place for fall group events. They do Tractor rides and tours through the orchard which include fresh made apple fritters, feeding the animals, a hot dog and apple (yes apple) roast by a bonfire and pond. The views are breathtaking, and a very memorable event for adults and children alike. Vaughn's also features pick your own pumpkins and apples, and has a great country store.
Sharp's Iga
Sharp's is a great place to go for convenience items. The only grocery store located in Weston, they have a fair selection of many items. Not a place to do weekly grocery shopping, as the prices can be much higher than average. If you shop their sales you can get some really good bargains, but we use them mostly as a convenience store. The people there are very friendly and helpful, and they even have carry out service.
The Childrens Book Shoppe At Weston
A beautiful quaint store filled with all kinds of books for anyone's reading pleasure. They stock board books to collector books. They feature a colored sticker pricing system, that prices books from $.99 to $5.99. There are very few that are individually priced above that. It is a great place to stock up on books for Christmas and Birthday gifts. My young kids love that they can go in there and choose a book by color sticker, and I love that they are first quality books at second hand prices!
Main Street Cafe
A great place to go for home town cooking and atmosphere. A place where you are treated like family, at a price a family can afford. Our favorite dish there is a generous plate of swamp fries- sauteed peppers, onions, mushrooms, cheese and their swamp sauce. Traditional Cafe fare like patty melts, Salisbury steak, and of course home made pies are dishes that keep you coming back.

Rainbow Medical Ctr
I was referred to Rainbow Medical Center by my primary care manager when they could not get me in for a same day appointment. Now I wish I could go there for all my medical needs! The staff was very helpful and friendly when it came to taking care of my insurance paperwork. The doctor was very attentive and actually listened to what I had to say. While the office was extremely busy, I did not feel like I was being rushed out, or that I was getting the general fix that is given to everyone else. I even got a prompt call back with my test results, instead of me having to call for them. I will definitely go back when I am again in need of medical attention.
Manhattan Pizza Ii
Our family loves to do movie nights, and what is a movie without. . . Pizza! They run a special that we normally get- 2 large one topping pizzas and a 2 litre for $18.95+tax. Their pizza has a soft, (not crunchy) crust which is a favorite for our (3) kids. Their sauce is a little tangy, but not spicy. They are generous with the toppings, and after everyone in the family is full, we still always have plenty left over for lunch the next day. Delivery is available, but the kids enjoy watching the pizzas being made from the small eat-in area. We have tried other local pizza places in the area, but we keep going back to Manhattan!
Viva Zapatas Mexican Rstrnt
The only place in Vegas we go for Mexican Food! Quaint atmosphere with generous portions of authentic, extremely delicious food. Chips are served with spicy salsa as well as beans to dip in, which pleases everyone in the family. Dinners also include soup. You can watch one of their staff making home made tortillas in the back of the restaurant, and live music also adds to the fun. Service is efficient and personal. Over all a great value for date night or a night out with the family!
Children's Dental Ctr
An amazingly clean, kid-friendly atmosphere! Any child who may fear the dentist will be put at ease here. The staff is wonderful and they greet the kids by name when they walk in the door. The office has an under the sea, Sponge Bob decor, so the kids feel at home as soon as they walk in. There are flat screen TVs on the celing to keep the kids' minds off what may be going on inside their mouths. Dr. Milne personally takes the time to consult with you about your child's visit. I drive across town just so my kids can have a really great dentist.
