Las Mananitas

We love this place and always recommend people try it. Their red sauce is served warm, has a wonderful flavor and the green sauce is very good. Upon being seated your drink order is quickly taken and the chips and salsa arrive. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our favorite is the carne asada (a thin slice of fajita steak), served with grilled onions, beans, pica de gallo, guacamole (small serving) and tortillas. The serving is large and I always take some home for another meal. My husband prefers the top shelf margaritas - he claims it is worth the extra price. After dinner, try the Mexican coffee. I don't like coffee but this is very good - coffe with kahlua, tequila and topped off with whipped cream. The only disappointment we've had was their flan - which was rubbery - not good at all.

Give them a try. Prices are better than many other area restaurants and the portions are very generous. They are located on Mason Road just south of Cimarron just down from Cici's and Subway.
