This shop has an extensive range of reasonably priced mountain and road bikes. Its friendly, helpful staff provides excellent post-sale service and great repairs.
I find this place to be very beautiful and reasonably relaxing compared to other venues like Great America. The kids have a blast and really enjoy the new water play area, the car and water rides, the maze and railroad and balloon rides.
We love the food here and enjoy dining in or their fast and easy take out. The service is a bit slow at times but it is a pretty family friendly place. A bit pricey.
This shop is conveniently located near the Trader Joes at Westgate West and offers everything you need to feed just about any kind of bird that you wish to attract. They also offer birding books, gardening decor, wind chimes and other novelty items. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
We had a wedding there years ago and it was lovely. They have an on-site chef who works with you to customize your menu and makes beautiful wedding cakes. They also have an on-site wedding coordinator who is wonderful. This made planning the event so much easier. Their prices were reasonable. Check out their web site for current pricing and details: http://www.madronamanor.com/
The large Victorian inn and carriage house are surrounded by acres of beautiful gardens that are incredibly well tended.
We returned to the area last year and and the inn is still as beautiful as it was back then. It's also a great place for a weekend getaway and they have an award winning restaurant on the premises.
The Campbell Community Center offers a great variety of kids; classes and summer camps that are reasonably priced. The facility also offers several of its buildings as rentals for parties, meetings, etc.
The Orchard City Hall is spacious and suitable for larger events. They have an event planner who guides you through the rental and setup process. If you are hiring a caterer, make sure that they have the appropriate liability insurance as the City of Campbell requires it.
Rental pricing is fairly reasonable. Orchard City Hall is spacious but plain and has an impressive kitchen that can be used for on site prep.
I've been a fixture at this store for years and would buy everything here if they had a greater selection. Great service, friendly staff. They'll even set items aside for you if you call in advance and need a large amount of something or other. Rumor has it that the store will be expanding within the next several years at this location.
This is such a fun place to visit. It seems that every time you go there, you find some potential new treasures. Owners bring their items here and sell them on consigment. Good to great prices on a variety of furniture styles and other decorative items. On a recent visit saw a high end leather chair for $299 in like new condition and several beautiful Tiffany floor lamps. They also have a "try it out" plan where you can try out a piece of furniture in your own home to make sure it's right before you buy.
This book sale runs the second Saturday of every month. There are literally thousands of books and 3-4 large rooms to explore. My favorite is the bargain books room that opens at 10 a.m. This is the best book sale I've been to in the Bay Area.
