i have been going to city vet for about a year for one of my dogs.
they did not impress me as being really great but it served it's purpose. over the last year i would give them a c-. however today took the cake and i give them a big F.
I went for a two vaccinations that were needed. i waited in the treatment room for about thirty minutes. the assistant finally showed and told me the doc would be in in a minute. i waited another 15 minutes and the assistant told me in one more minute. I told myself I would give him 10 more minutes and then i'm going to leave. Well 10 minutes cames and went and i went adios.
these shots take less than two minutes to do and i'm going to wait an hour for this..... I don't think so.
No one called me for an apology so I guess they dont' appreciate my business. Bye City Vet on Oak Lawn you upgraded your facilities but not the attitude.

read the nice reviews from various magazines and thought i would try it. i have two dogs and submitted the apps for them and submited their records. the staff gave me attitude because they insisted my dog did not have one of his shots. i called the vet and they told me my dog had a shot that lasted two years and it is indicated on the records. i told the staff this but they did not apologize for being rude.
I was having reservations at that point. Unfortunately, I had no choice and left them at doggie day care because some work was being done on my place. They are skittish and don't like noise. Later on, I viewed them on web cam and saw a guy drilling and sawing in the day care area with them in it.
needless to say i was pissed i took them out before 5p and paid my fee. i expressed my disappointment to them and all they did was apologize. I will never go there again.
Maybe people are too drunk on the wine to see this place is really not the best for animals or people.
