Don't be fooled by the name of Dresden Pottery Company! They sell so much more than pottery! Check out the basket accessories, the wrought iron and the kitchen linens. Great shop!
I love the Charm of Dresden. It really is charming! There are so many little shops along the main streets of Dresden that it is well worth a trip whether you are a basket collector or not!
For around $16 you can get a full service wash with an interior cleaning. You just pull in, go inside and wait while the technicians quickly wash, vacuum and polish your car. Well worth the money.
This is a great place to visit with the kids. They have a working canal boat on which you can take a ride and a great historical farm museum. Educational and fun!
I love the many different specialty pizzas offered at Hoagies. We like to stop here for dinner before seeing the movie at Movies 5 next door. A great little pizza joint!
My aunt has used this store for cake decorating supplies for many years. The one time she sent me here to pick up supplies for her, I was amazed at how much stuff could be crammed into such a small space. Not glamorous by any means, and kind of run down and junky by my standards, but my aunt is all about the best price.
This little meat market has a limited variety of staples on hand--bread, milk, eggs, etc. Of course, they also have a great selection of fresh cut meats and lunch meats and they do a booming business at lunch time making sandwiches. Decent prices and good service.
We visited Possum Creek Metropark on a home school field trip several years ago. I was impressed with the educational program they provided at a very reasonable cost per student. They were great!
This is a favorite of my grandparents. I'm not sure why. I guess if you can look past the run-down appearance and appreciate the roadside diner style menu, it's ok. Not a place I'd recommend if you can't.
