I love Benjamin Moore paints--low odor, great coverage, consistent high quality. The owner/operator of Paintworks is highly knowledgeable about paint and does a great job at custom matching colors. I always recommend them to my friends.
Skateworld of Vandalia
We've been to Skateworld many times. They have a fairly nice rink with many other video games and a concession stand. It is also nice that the kids can bring their own skates as long as the bolts don't stick out.
Lincoln Square Restaurant
Lincoln Square is the kind of place my grandma likes to eat. I don't care for their food or the atmosphere--kind of run down and dumpy if you ask me.
Snyder Brick & Block
My son has just completed his Eagle Scout project. He used brick pavers for a memorial prayer garden at our church. He purchased all the materials at Snyder Brick and Block and found the staff to be helpful, friendly and generous throughout the process.
Splash Moraine
We love to go to Splash Moraine. It is reasonably priced and a great place to go with young kids. The park is large enough for a wave pool, 2 water slides and a lazy river, but small enough that you can see the kids play from most of the seating areas.
