When we unexpectedly had to make arrangements for my father-in-law's funeral, we couldn't have had better service than what we got at Baird. We appreciated the caring manner that was used for every aspect of the funeral arrangements and service.
Dr. Koch is a great doctor for kids. He diagnosed a tracking disorder in my son who was having difficulty reading. Through his help, we were able to perform exercises at home to strengthen his eyes and fix the problem.
The Robbins Nest offers a wide variety of classes for beginners through advanced oil and acrylic painters. My grandmother has been taking their classes for years and has become quite an accomplished artist under the direction of Mrs. Robbins.
Corigraphics has great prices on copy and printing services. Their staff is knowledgeable and professional and the business is family owned and operated.
I love Benjamin Moore paints--low odor, great coverage, consistent high quality. The owner/operator of Paintworks is highly knowledgeable about paint and does a great job at custom matching colors. I always recommend them to my friends.
We've been to Skateworld many times. They have a fairly nice rink with many other video games and a concession stand. It is also nice that the kids can bring their own skates as long as the bolts don't stick out.
Lincoln Square is the kind of place my grandma likes to eat. I don't care for their food or the atmosphere--kind of run down and dumpy if you ask me.
My son has just completed his Eagle Scout project. He used brick pavers for a memorial prayer garden at our church. He purchased all the materials at Snyder Brick and Block and found the staff to be helpful, friendly and generous throughout the process.
We love to go to Splash Moraine. It is reasonably priced and a great place to go with young kids. The park is large enough for a wave pool, 2 water slides and a lazy river, but small enough that you can see the kids play from most of the seating areas.
