I needed to get my Dodge Stratus smogged so that I could register it. I just recently bought a car, and I wanted to give the dodge to my daughter for school. It wasn't running at the time, so they arranged to have it towed to their shop. Bill called me and told me that the fuel pump needed to be replaced in order to get the car running. He replaced it and ran a diagnostic on it and found a code that pointed to an oxygen sensor being bad. He called and told me that a bad oxygen sensor can sometimes damage the catalytic converter to a point where the car wouldnt pass smog. I explained that i wasn't rich and that i just need to get the car smogged so my daughter could drive it legally. He said he understood my situation and he would try to get it smogged with just the sensor being replaced and only worry about the cat later if it started running really bad. Success, the car passed smog and is running fine. I really appreciated Bill's honesty throughout the whole process.
