Veterans Affairs Medical Center

Probably one of the most pleasant surprises in medical care. Have extremely well trained staff who are pleasant and helpful. Medical Records system is possibly one of the best designed and effective in my experience. Long term detailed records are available to all departments in the facility and can be shared with other VA facilities nationwide. Experience with this facility and care received has always been above expectations.

Master Grip

Irving, TX Recreation and Sports 10/28/07: 'Master Grip'

High quality golf equipment at very reasonable prices. Accessible via the Internet at MasterGrip.com or by telephone. Does not maintain retail locations. I feel the clubs I have bought from them are comparable to top line golf clubs at a very reasonable price. Other golf products such as gloves and golf bags are excellent quality.

River Oaks Golf Course

Sandy, UT Golf - Courses 10/28/07: 'River Oaks Golf Course'

Great staff in the golf shop. Probably the best value in the area. Several golf holes require accuracy. Good selection of golf equipment in the golf shop.

Trio Cafe Cottonwood

This is probably an upscale restaurant. The setting, ambiance and decor are lovely. The menu is somewhat limited but food very good. My husband and I split one of their salads and encores and had plenty of food. Liquor is served there.

Dee's Family Restaurant

A good family style restaurant. Usually fairly busy but the food is good at a very reasonable price. I particularly like the California salad. Service is usually good and employees friendly.

Britton"s

Sandy, UT Food and Dining 10/24/07: 'Britton's'

This is a family restaurant with good food at a very modest cost. There are specials every night. Children eat free on Thurs. with a paying adult. It is very, very casual and almost a fast food environment. The halibut is very good.

Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery

Salt Lake City, UT Surgeons 10/24/07: 'Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery - Dr. Brandon G. Bentz'

Dr. Brandon Bentz is one outstanding surgeon. He explains everything from start to finish, is extremely well educated and qualified. I had a total thyroidectomy, had no pain ever and scar is hidden in creases of my neck.

Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Eyelids & Face

Salt Lake City, UT Health and Medicine 10/24/07: 'Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Eyelids & Face'

Dr. R. Anderson is, from what I understand, a world re-known ocular plastic surgeon who does excellent work with excellent results. He spends a lot of time going over procedures and what to expect. However, the wait time in his office can be quite long with no explanation as to reasons. His office staff should be trained to let patients know the reason for the extra long wait time.

I found this to be an extremely good dining location. The family style service was excellent and food delicious. There was certainly plenty of food and the prices reasonable.
