Tokyo Japanese Restaurant
Tokyo has always had wonderful dishes, and the owners are great people. They have the typical hibachi dishes at reasonable prices, prepared by a chef at your table. The one thing missing is any sushi offerings.
Trudis Home Cooking
Sadly, Trudi closed her business early in 2007. Her home cooking was wonderful, especially her pot roast. Trudi's was a great place for lunch, and we miss her.
Panda Cafe
Panda Cafe had a reasonable buffet offering, but closed in 2006. The building is now home to a Hog Pen BBQ that is really very good. Check it out - it's really good!
Brother Ts Place
Sadly, Brother T closed his place in early 2007, due to city requirements for staffing. His soul food was absolutely wonderful, and he was a great guy. We miss him. A Lindsey's BBQ has now opened at this location.
Annie's Family Restaurant
I am a weekend regular for breakfast at Annie's. The service is always great, the servers are friendly and will remember you after only a few visits. I love the breakfast items, with my favorite being the corned beef hash and eggs. The pancakes, waffles and omelets are also very good. The prices are very reasonable and the portions will satisfy any size appetite.
