Alloto's
Best Italian Deli in the area. Bacon, cheese, ham, lettuce, tomato on fresh Italian roll is to die for. Side salads are just as tasty. Really busy little deli - well worth the wait to get the sandwich to go !
Park Place Restaurant
Great restaurant located in the Cypress Hotel in Cupertino,
Ca. Try the stuffed pork chop, garlic mashed potatoes and stir fried vegetables. Excellent !
cypress hotel
This a great hotel located in the heart of Cupertino. It has the coolest decor in each hotel room. Carpets are tiger print, brown fur throws, linen is luxurious and leopard print robes are available. It is tastefully done. The best thing is that small dogs are allowed to stay !!!
Yankee Pier
A wonderful seafood restaurant located in Santana Row which is one of the most upscale shopping districts in the area. The best salad is the Shrimp Louie Salad. It has bay shrimp, avocado, eggs, and croutons which are arranged on a bed of arugula. The dressing is just delicious !
MacArthur's park
An old restaurant located in Palo Alto not far from Stanford University. It is a local restaurant that offers great lunches and dinners. Not very fancy inside, just a comfortable atmosphere with good food.
Dish Dash
A very small Mediterranean restaurant located in the downtown of Sunnyvale. The vegetarian wraps are absolutely the best we have had ! Prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a trip to eat here and then order more to take home.
Il Postal
A very small Italian restaurant. The food is good, however it was hard to enjoy it because the tables are so close to each other. You are elbow to elbow.
Tarragon
The food and service at the Tarragon was satisfactory. However, the high ceilings in the restaurant made any noise echo and it was very difficult to carry on a conversation.
Alexander's Steak House
An interesting steak house with a twist of Japanese cuisine.
Steaks are excellent and cooked to your preference perfectly. Desserts are awesome and plated beautifully.
If your lucky, you can get a tour and meet the chef and owner. The menu is $$$$ since all entrees, vegetable, and salads are priced separately.
Bay Leaf
A small, Thai Restaurant in the town of Sunnyvale. The lunch servings are quite large. We enjoyed the Garlic and Basil Chicken. The Thai Iced Coffee is worth the trip. Very inexpensive place to eat.
