Clean Living Store

Athens, GA Used Furniture - Athens, GA Appliances - Retail 03/03/08: 'Friendly Service'

I have taken two vacuums to be repaired at the Clean Living Store, and they are very reasonable and quick. They also sell new and used vacuums of different brands.

Gosford Wine

Gosford Wine is conveniently located next to Kroger at Beechwood shopping center. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and I have never been disappointed in the different wines they have recommended to me.

Knit A Bit

Chapel Hill, NC Needlework Shops 02/22/08: 'yarn yarn yarn'

The best place in town to get specialty European yarns. The staff are very knowledgeable, but I get the vibe that they prefer to cater to the older, more organized knitter and not the younger, whimsical one like me.

I went to Dr. Willock on the recommendation of two of my professors. He is a wonderful and compassionate dentist. He was always punctual, and had excellent chair-side manner- he always explained what he was doing and why. Plus, his office is right next to the mall. You can't go wrong!

Chicago, IL Beauty Products 02/19/08: 'Posh Soaps'

Sabon is a fancy soap shop with super-knowledgeable staff. They have beautiful gift boxes for a special occasion. I received a gift of rosemary soap and lavendar hand cream, they smell great and the packaging is fabulous.

Secret Treasures

Evanston, IL Antiques & Collectibles 02/19/08: 'The Original Anthropologie'

Secret Treasures is an adorable little antique shop just a few steps from the Dempster El. They mostly carry housewares- depression glass, vintage Fiesta, tablecloths and napkins, and small furniture. They also have some jewelry, knicknacks, etc. The owner has impeccable taste for nostalgic 'chabby chic' stuff and the prices are really reasonable. People line up before the shop opens the day they put out their vintage Christmas stuff.

Four Seasons Pet Resort

Hull, GA Pet Training - Hull, GA Kennels & Pet Boarding - Hull, GA Pet Washing & Grooming - Hull, GA Resorts & Vacation Rentals 02/19/08: 'Doggie Heaven'

We boarded our dog here for 2 weeks while we were on vacation. The staff are really friendly, and they have modern and clean runs. For an extra couple bucks, they took her out to play and run every day, and they even have a dog swimming pool. The dog was thrilled and came back sparkling clean from a fresh bath with a cute bandanna.

Our department has had Martis At Midday cater lunches, they have a great menu. I had the Smoked Turkey with Curried Apricot Mayo sandwich, yum! The catered lunch boxes are about $10.

Pizzazz On The Circle

Pizzazz is an awesome pizza/Italian place for a family dinner. Their salads are amazing, I love the mesclun salad with grapes, walnuts, mandarin oranges and raspberry dressing, and usually a BBQ chicken pizza (with bacon and smoked gouda, yum!). They also have pastas and sandwiches, the quality is always top-notch and the service is good.

Basket Factory Restaurant

Middleport, NY Restaurants 02/18/08: 'Great Dinner'

You can't go wrong at the Basket Factory. The baked fish is always delicious on Fridays the prices are reasonable and the service is always friendly.
