i'm not much for bbq, but this place is excellent and i could not pass it up. and they don't just serve bbq, they serve a catfish that you have to give a try. when ever i come here, i'm not disappointed.
this is a hole in the wall chinese food restaurant, and it is pretty good. the food here is pretty good, not excellent. i would compare it to panda express but a little better. and the prices are better too.
all the tortillas in this taqueria are HOMEMADE! and, they taste delicious. even the burritos are made with the homemade tortillas. i had the carne asada burrito and was very pleased. my coworker who was very familiar with this place had the goat soup. the only problem about this place, is that it's so authentic, you may want to brush up on your spanish before coming here.
i was working in the area and my coworker suggested to try this taqueria out. so we had lunch here. i decided to try their carne asada tacos. on top of it, it had fresh avacados, not just guacamole! big plus in my book. it didn't come with any sides, but the two tacos were big enough to fulfill my appetite, so it was ok.
i love that they just opened this pacific supermarket in south city. they have a great selection of asian vegetables. when i cook food that needs bokchoy, taro root, and the like i tend to come here instead of your regular supermarket. the asian foods are a bit more fresh here and you have more to choose from. and the same goes for the seafood selection.
this is a great place to get filipino breads and desserts. they have babinka, ube bread, enpinadas and much much more. the aroma in the store is great, you can salivate just from the baking bread.
when i'm in the mood for soup i like to get pho. the ingredients they serve here are fresh like most pho restaurants. the broth is good and the service is fast.
like the original little lucca in south san francisco this little lucca uses the famous jalepeno spread that makes little lucca different from the other delis. it's a little smaller in size and i tend to like the south city sandwiches better. but if you are in the area it's definitely worth the try
numis is a fairly small store. they buy and sell jewelry. they even buy back jewelry that is broken. it is a family owned business and they are willing to work with you to find what you like.
when i was looking to buy a house, Henry Chan, along with my parents helped me to find one that suited my needs. he was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. not once did i feel like i was being pushed into something i didn't want.
