this is a pretty good japanese resturant. the food is good and the prices are not too expensive either. the resturant is owned by a family and they are really friendly. the only down side is that you may have to wait in the cold because the waiting area is very limited.

i've been to this resturant a couple of times and have never been disappointed. the place itself is pretty small and can get really packed because it is sooooo good. the smothered chicken is really good and so is the mac and cheese. YUMMMY!

Red Ribbon Bakeshop
this is a fairly small bakery but the pastries are wonderful. we normally order the mango cake for dessert for any of our special occaions. the cake is not too sweet and you can taste the mango, unlike other items that do not taste like real mango.

Copenhagen Bakery & Cafe
the cakes from here are huge and taste delicious. we normally buy cakes from here for special occasions. we recently bought a cake for a first birthday party. the cake had a chocolate cake on the bottom and vanilla cake on top, in between had fresh strawberries an bananas. the cake was soooo light an not too sweet. i even had seconds.

if you ever are out of ideas for any kind of gift, you need to visit edible arrangements. edible arrangements is basically an arrangement of fruit that resembles a foral bouqet. the bouqets come in a variety of sizes and prices, so i'm sure you'll find something you like in your price range. it has NEVER failed me!

this place is great to get your car washed. you may have to wait a little while, but that's only because they are so well known and everyone goes here. they have a number of combos with a variety of prices.

i used to frequent here a lot. i haven't been in the area in awhile, but if i ever am i will definitely visit again. i used to get the fried shrimp and fried mushrooms. i've tasted other items off of my friends' plates and have never been disappointed.

Bocce Cafe-Italian Restaurant
i recently visited this italian restaurant. it has a really nice atmosphere inside and a full bar. they even had some live musical performers, one on a electronic keyboard accompanied by another on a trumpet. the appetizers were pretty good. we order the calamari and the brushetta. the food however was not that great. i ordered the chicken parmiganio and my boyfriend the chicken marsala. both of us were very disappointed with our food. my uncle however, ordered the cioppino and was pleased. overall the experience was mediocre.

Everlasting Tattoo
everlasting tattoo is really clean, which is one of the most important factors when getting a tattoo. the famous artist that goes by the name "GIANT" used to tattoo here. he started as a graffitti artist and went into tattooing. he then turned into a gallery artist. all the artists here are good though. and you can look at some of their art on their website too.

Skyline College Library
this is a really good community college. they have counselors who are readily available to help you with your schedule. they are also really known for their cosmetology program. and if you want something to be done it's really cheap. i went here and transfered into UCSB.
