The Spicy Green Bean has excellent wraps, soups, sandwiches and coookies. While your there try their homeade pickles too. They have limited seating but do offer blankets for those who want have a picnic on the front lawn. All their food is homeade from scratch and made fresh daily.
If you love cheese, ecspecially Cabot Cheese, stop by next time your in Vermont. This store has it all from cheese to wine. You will find all the Cabot Cheese varieties such as jalapeno, dill, cheddar, montarey jack and more. Dont worry if your not sure what you like, they have samples of each to try. Next door is a wine specialty shop and an ice cream parlor too!
My favorite exhibit is the sea lions and seals ecspecially at feeding time. Make sure to stop at the gorilla exhibit where you can almost get face to face with the gorillas. Great day trip for any family.
This resort has it all Beautiful landscaping, huge pool with water slide, poolside bar, free shuttle around the resort, gift shop, excellent food and free buses that run every 5-10 minutes that go to all the parks. The room itself was ok and the beds were hard but still worth the money to stay there.
This place is very cute, it used to be an old home now turned salon. They sometimes have out homemade cookies that the owner makes along with coffee, water, and wine. Yes I said wine! Prices are about the same as any other salon but the service is phenomenal. My hairdresser, Shannon, does an amazing job with my cut & color and gets it right every time. Its worth the extra mileage.
The restaurant is nothing spectalular but the best part is the old train caboose that you can dine in. Get there early if you go on the weekend because the wait can get long. The portions here are so enormous, that most times you need to bring home a doggy bag. Steaks and seafood are the best choices!
I had never been to a Cheesecake Factory before and now I am hooked! The menu offers too many choices and of course the dessert there is out of this world. The only downfall is the wait, which is anywhere from an hour to 3 hours depending on when you go.
