I called to reserve two lanes for a birthday party and the woman I spoke to on the phone was rude, curt, and generally lacking customer service skills, or even common politeness. However, I still made the reservation because I really wanted to have the party at that location.
When we arrived, I waited at the main counter for 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged, and that was only because I finally spoke up. It was at least five minutes more before I was able to talk to someone to check in for our party. Here I was not treated as overtly rudely as I was on the phone, but it was still not what I would consider courteous or appropriate customer service.
Because of the delay in checking in, we didn't get our lanes, which were reserved from 7-9 pm, turned on until sometime after 7:15; however, when I requested that they be allowed to stay on until 9:15 because of the time lost, the person at the counter argued with me about what time they had been turned on and claimed that he had personally turned them on BEFORE 7 pm, which is simply impossible. He did agree to keep them on until 9:15, however, so I saw no need to argue the point that his claim was ludicrous - no point in talking to a wall.
In short, I would advise people to stay away from Wynnewood Lanes if they want to be treated with even a modicum of respect and/or made to feel that this company wants their business.
