Officers Athletic Center Pentagon
The Officers Athletic Center Pentagon has all you need for a great work out! There is an indoor swimming pool, racquetball courts, a motorized climbing wall, indoor track and all the weight and aerobic machines you could desire. Clean, convenient well-equipped locker rooms with towel service provided, make it easy to either to take a break for a workout during the day, or append your work out to the beginning or end of each day. You can either pay per use or sign up for an extended contract. The POAC will accommodate all your fitness needs!

Stray Cat Cafe
Just a couple of doors down from the Lost Dog (no burgers, mostly pizza), you will find the Stray Cat. Like the Lost Dog, the Stray Cat offers a wide variety of beer selections. However the Stray Cat specializes in burgers, that you won't find among the deli sandwich and pizza selections at the Lost Dog. However you will find the same great service and relaxing atmosphere. A good place to go with your family.

Spud Fish & Chips
Spud's makes the best milkshakes, and true to Northwest form the flavor is blackberry. The fish and chips are good. The fries tend to be a little greasy, but the halibut can't be beat. You can always walk off a hearty meal at Spud's by taking a stroll around Green lake. Its not just lunch, it's a tradition!

Cassatt's
Cassatt's is a cute little cafe in North Arlington. The panninies are especially good. Nestled among the Lee Shops its a great place for breakfast or lunch. If you live in N. Arlington and like to bike to work, it's a great place to meet up with fellow bikers. Seating is limited and it can be difficult to get in when crowded. The pleasant art on display adds to the ambiance. The food is consistently good.

Carmine's
Carmine's is a great place to stop for dinner when you are in New York, easily accessible to the theater district, you must start with the calamari appetizer! Carmine's serves items family style. Pick a few selections for your group and share around. Perfect for a family or group traveling together. Carmines is always busy, and the wait can be long, but the food is well worth it. If your in the mood for a cocktail while you wait, Carmines won't disappoint. Everything tastes great!

Ray's Boathouse
You will love the seafood at Ray's Boathouse, whether it's for an intimate dinner, cocktails on the deck or a large party. Ray's has a gorgeous view of the Olympic Mountains across the Puget Sound. We have attended large parties and found them orchestrated beautifully. We have enjoyed happy hours specials on the deck during sunset. The food is delicious, the service is superior and the view will stay on your mind forever!

1789 Restaurant
The food, service and decor at 1789 are simply divine! Make your reservations well in advance for a special occasion or to entertain out of town visitors. It's not just dinner it's an event! The tasting menu is a particular favorite with fabulous wine pairings. The scallops were absolutely 'melt in your mouth' delicious! The wait staff are attentive, responsive and eager to please. 1789 is a beautiful setting for any celebration!

Metro 29 Diner Restaurant
Metro 29 has an extensive menu filled with traditional and comfort food items. My favorites are the breakfast items served all day long. But the menu is so expansive that even with a picky eater in your group, everyone will find something they like. Don't miss desert, there is a wide selection of fresh pies and cakes. The prices are reasonable, the wait is short and the wait staff is very efficient. Perfect for the nights you'd just rather not cook!

Cowboy Cafe
We like to go to the Cowboy cafe for breakfast. You can't beat the mailer specials that are frequently delivered to your mailbox if you live in the area. You really feel like you are back on the ranch at the cowboy cafe. The restaurant is a bit of dive, some think this adds to the ambiance while others may not be impressed. The food is fine for the price.
