If you're looking for family friendly games that are a little unique, here's the place. Fun 'N Games has a wide selection of games that you'll find in a regular store plus board games that are very unique.
If they don't have it... they will order it for you.
For a bonus, every Monday night the store has an open game night which you can play many of the games with your friends and family for free. A kind of try before you buy. Tournaments are also held many nights each month for those that like role playing games. Educational games can be found here as well.
Great local hole-in-the-wall favorite for many years. Excellent selection from the menu (my favorite the carnitas),with a loyal local patronage. The pricing is very budget friendly during these tough economic times.
Can't go wrong.
el Ranchito has the tastiest tacos. This is a small family owned chain that uses nothing but the best cuts of meat with no added coloring in their foods. All the meals are tasty with my favorite being the shredded beef tacos and chile rellenos. They have a nicely varied menu for such a modest eatery with very reasonable pricing. The atmosphere is very basic and is always clean.
They have a nice variety of salsas for you to chose from.
Pali Gardens is located on the basement level at Castle Medical Center, a part of the Adventist Healthcare system.
The food there is very basic, simple vegan dishes.
Call ahead for times as the cafe is only open limited hours.
This place is more notably for events such as weddings and banquets, which are done very well. The woodsy setting is quite beautiful and he staff has always been nice.
The food isn't really much of anything special, isn't bad but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.
Cinnamons is packed come Sunday morning. Why? Good food at reasonable prices. The portions are very generous and the Guava Chiffon pancakes are to die for!
The setting is very nice and the staff is very attentive.
People here go to Zippys for the chili.
I personally like the plate lunches better, my favorite being the mahi mahi which is deep fried and crunchy.
They also have a wonderful bakery, Napoleons.
The best part? Zippys is open late, many are even open 24 hours!
DeJongs s a little jewel in Lake Elsinore. You can't get your milk any fresher than this. You can come on by and see the cows yourself.
In fact, they will do tour for small groups (I brought my Scouts). To see how the cows get milked, pet the animals (they have a small petting zoo), and get treated to the creamiest Chocolate milk around.
Once people try the milk here, they won't go back to store bought.
Great little mom and pop type Ice Cream Store. A little out of our way, but when you want to get away from the run of the mill chain stores, this one might suit you fine.
Besides... the kids love it!
Having lived on the islands for many years I was aching to have some Hawaiian food. Not quite "local" flavor, but somewhat satisfying. I enjoyed the teriyaki beef but the katsu was a bit over done and a little greasy. Maybe I just got there on an off day.
The value was good and although I wasn't completely thrilled, I didn't walk away totally disappointed.
