What a unique store! They have everything from antiques to wine to cards. Unique gifts galore! Handy kitchen items. Clocks. Lamps. rugs. chairs. etc. Staff is very friendly and will gladly help you find just the right gift.
Windsor Clock & Watch Co
Windsor Clock has a wonderful selection at various price ranges. If you're looking for a Grandfather clock they have several on hand. The staff was very willing to help and was very knowledgeable. They also do repairs on site.
Barr Bike & Fitness
Barr Bike seems to have a pretty good selection, but is definitely geared towards the serious bikers with the cheapest bike at around $300. Many bikes were priced over $1000. They also carry a lot of bike accessories, including apparel. Barr also does bike repair although we don't have any experience on that.
The Urban Grill
We had high expectations for the Urban Grill since it is owned by the same people as Nick's. The food was OK, service fair, and some bell kept ringing that got very annoying. I'm hoping we just went on a bad night.
Bruce Engine
We had a weed whacker that wouldn't start after a move. Bruce's Engine was able to take care of the problem in a short time. The price seemed to be reasonable. Not sure how to compare though.
Okoboji Grill
Great selection - from soups, sandwiches to entrees. The atmosphere was relaxing. Place can get very busy during the lunch hour. Recommend the Tortilla soup.
Tasty Tacos
Wonderful Americanized tacos and other Mexican foods. Their famous flour taco is huge! Fried taco Shell isn't on the healthy food list but is very good. Place is always busy. Staff is not overly friendly however.
Critchett's Church Organs Inc
I didn't know the name was Church Organs. It just has Critchett's on the front. The staff was very knowledgeable of the various piano manufacturers and took a piano apart to demonstrate some of the quality features. Not sure I got the best price however.
Wicker & the Works
For the hippie who has never grown up, check this place out. They have everything from furniture, custom work, nick knacks, lighting, etc. I enjoyed browsing the store and would definitely go back for that unique gift.
George The Chili King Drive-Inn
Someone recommended the Chili King to us as a great place to eat. The place is a dive - I can't believe they could pass a health inspection with all the dirt and grease. I guess the burger wasn't too bad if you like grease.
