I stop here on every trip I take up to Maine. They have the best no-bake bars ever. I stock up on them for my weekend getaways in the summer.
BUT.... Corsettis has the scariest bathroom I have ever seen. If you ever have the dire and unfortunate need to use it, you will see. It is located in the dark basement below, down some dangerous and creepy stairs. It is the only place my kids have ever refused to use, and decide to hold it til the next stop on our travels.
Still, I would give Corsettis 4 stars for the treats and sandwiches. Just dont use the bathroom.
One of the prongs on my diamond ring was loose so I had to get it fixed but I was very nervous about leaving it somewhere. Other places I looked into told me they would ship my ring out to another place to get it fixed.
At Ashton Christopher, they fixed it right there in the shop. I had to leave it there for a day or two, but it came back good as new and was very happy to have it fixed.
I adopted both my dog and cat from the Animal Rescue League and every year I make a donation to help. They have a caring and knowledgeable staff and I was glad to hear that they do not put animals down to make room for others.
I don't think people come here for the food, as much as they come here for the drinks. The margaritas are outstanding. I think their recipe consists of tequila, tequila, more tequila and a little bit of lime juice.
The food is good, but nothing out of this world. If you are looking to go out for drinks and an awesome margarita you have to stop in.
I took my daughter here for her birthday and she was mesmerized by the Chef. They cook your food right in front of you at the table. The chef was amazing with his knife skills and did a wonderful job of entertaining the table as he cooked.
A must see! There are not too many places you can go anymore for dinner and entertainment.
I used to go here for lunch all the time when I worked down the road. I always got the toasted ravioli. It was so good every time.
The staff was always pleasant and prices are reasonable.
I went here looking for some bar stools and found some that came with a table. It wasn't quite what I was looking for but I was optimistic. I will definitely return to look again.
They had a very large selection of items. Pricing was reasonable.
Lots for Tots has lots of quality items to choose from. They have clothing (arranged by size), lots of toys in the back, maternity clothes, books, movies and strollers and such. The clothing is always in good condition and you can find some really interesting things.
Prices seem to be going up and up though, like everything else. Its almost to the point where you might as well buy something brand new, but, they do get interesting things you couldn't find elsewhere and its good to reuse and recycle.
Window Attire has a great selection of tile and flooring but you need appointment if you are looking to create custom curtains. I was hoping they would have some ready to hang curtains there as well, but they only had samples of ones that could be made for you.
The store has very limited hours, so I suggest you make an appt to talk about curtains. The staff was very informative and helpful and they had all kinds of fabric and styles of curtains you could order.
We have redecorated several rooms of our house with tile from Goedecke Decorating Center. They have tons of tile to choose from and the staff is very informative and helpful in picking out the right tile for your room.
Hours are a bit scarce. I wish they were open passed 5 O'clock on more days.
