This place is a fixture of downtown coffee shops where students and coffee lovers alike like to congregate for their caffeine fix!
I love their hot chocolate and their chai coffees! They also sell their specialty beans, which many of my friends purchase on a regular basis to brew at home. The place is clean and wonderful if you're going to meet a friend or read a book. The service is always wonderful and efficient, while the prices are very reasonable. I would go there before chancing it at an impersonal chain!
Staff is nice and the food is delicious! I recommend the pad Thai, with tender veggies and crispy peanuts atop Thai noodles! It has a nice, homey atmosphere and a big screen to watch the big game. Plus a bar and they have now added breakfast!Their location is inside a hotel; therefore, you may decide you like the food so much you want to stay the night to have it again the next day!
This coffee house has an excellent selection of coffee, teas, and middle-eastern treats and traditional treats! Their home-made hummus is excellent and I highly recommend their White Chocolate Chai Mocha. They have updated and refurbished their establishment, so it looks beautiful and rustic at the same time.
I feel their drinks are reasonably priced and service is fast and friendly!
This restaurant is clean, efficient, reasonably priced, and an over-all wonderful dining experience. The establishment is a fixture and must-see of downtown Columbia. It features a bar and 2-level dining space for beautiful dining and delicious food. Prices are competitive and food is always fresh! I personally recommend the Siam Village Rolls (available with pork or vegetarian style) and their delicious, hand-made dipping sauce. Their pad thai is also wonderful and a restaurant favorite!
Manager was rude to our needs. We had a reservation by the fire place and the hostess obliged but then the manager interveened and made us move elsewhere with no explanation. Waitress was more than happy to place us properly per our reservation; however, manager returned and scolded us! I can't figure out why; however, referred to us as 'your kind of people'. We're white, middle-class husband and wife! Is it because I'm a woman with no hair due to cancer? I guess he didn't want the first thing people saw to be my bald head.
When I was there the week before, I thought maybe the food quality was just due to the cook that day. I'd had better food out of a freezer box. Not giving it a second chance after the run in with management though! Price was too high for the low quality. All I can say that was good is that the place looks nice despite surroundings and our waitress was nice as well.
