Italian Bistro

It's been our favorite for about 8 years. Atmosphere in the dining room is casual but still "nice-ish" (you could take a date there) and table service has always been very good. (They have a to-go counter in a separate area.) As another reviewer noted, it is family owned and run and they always remember us when we come in, which is a nice touch, but we go for the food!

They don't cut any corners in the kitchen - it seems pretty authentic to me and prices lean moderate (with entrees starting under $10 with some ranging up to around twice that). Portions are sufficiently large that I always think I'm going to have to take some home, but more-often-than-not I eat it all anyway. They could serve the same food at higher prices in a fancier restaurant and I'm sure they'd still have customers coming back often.

I used to always go for the fancier dishes (e.g. shrimp or chicken rosa), but lately I've been enjoying the inexpensive spaghetti with meatballs and/or meat sauce ... so good! Our son likes the baked ziti and meatball sub.
