Larry & Barb have taken a much needed business and made it fun. I have had their food at a number of functions and it is always impeccable. The items they serve are not only pleasing to the palate, but to the eyes as well. They can make menus that are healthy to eat, and actually taste delicious! Great food from great people.
Since I have Multiple Sclerosis, when we moved to Zephyrhills inn 2003, it was imperative that I find a good neurologist. The first one I found was in Tampa, but it was such a long drive there, that I had to find one closer. I lucked into finding Dr. Prashkumar Patel. He has been wonderful. In fact, I later learned, he actually did his doctorate on Multiple Sclerosis, and, therefore keeps up on all the best treatments. He takes the time to listen, asking me if there have been any new symptoms, etc. I have been very fortunate, in that my M.S. isn't the rapidly debilitating type. He keeps a close watch to see that I'm on the right medications and dosages, so that I can maintain. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a great neurologist.
Years ago, when we would come to Zephyrhills to visit my husband's parents, I would always make it a point to drop in what is now Young Life Health Foods for a fruit smoothie. When we actually moved here almost 5 years ago, this was one of the first businesses I patronized. When Linda became the owner, she and I just clicked - as I'm sure she does with most of her customers. She is an absolutely precious young lady. I go in about once or twice a month now to get supplies, and Kevin, behind the counter, always knows the exact smoothie I want. They have such a wide variety of health foods, supplements, vitamins, etc. They also have a wonderful little deli. I give this place 5 stars, most definitely!
When I found out I had M.S., my sister gave me a little black poodle. Growing up on a farm, I figured animals were animals. Well, this little dog lit up my life! When we moved to Florida in 2003, I started taking him to the Zephyrhills Vet. Clinic, and met the nicest people there. They honestly CARED about my pet, and made me feel right at home. Anyway, closer to the end of 2006, when my pup was a little over 14 years old, he started developing kidney, liver, and heart problems. When I couldn't stand to see him suffer any longer, Dr. Melaney actually came to my home, so that he could pass in familiar surroundings. She was so caring, and so understanding. I could never thank her enough for the compassion she showed.
