Came across this place while staying with a friend in West Covina. It's a bar where you can go and watch sports on one of their many TV's. It's your typical bar with friendly fun people. There is a juke box, pinball machine, and a couple of video poker machines and 2 pool tables. The only thing I don't like about this place is they allow smoking inside.
My boyfriend and I stay here for our little romantic get togethers. It's nothing truly fancy but there some ammenities that we like. All the rooms have a mini fridge, a mini water cooler, and a dvd player. You can bring your own dvd's or for a 10.00 refundable deposit, you can rent 1 from the desk (regular and adult dvds).
This place is close to lots of different restaurants along Valley Blvd in the San Gabriel Valley and the entrance to the 10 frwy is right across the street. Rooms usually go for around 65.00 - 70.00.
My co-worker bought 17 dollars worth of donuts for his crew and they were stale, old and dry! He called the donut shop to complain and was told that they would not give any type of refund, not even a partial refund. He explained that there are other people that buy donuts there from our company and they should at least take that into consideration. The owner said NO! No refunds.
No refunds, no more business for him.
They have many sandwiches to choose from and they taste really good. I was amazed at how many people were waiting patiently for their food. The place was packed although they were prompt with their service.
I came upon this market after moving to the area. They have really good prices on their meat and produce. It is a decent size market that also prepares hot foods. You can find an array of hot foods like burritos, tacos, and rotiserie chickens. You can buy a combo plate for 5.00 that includes the entree and rice and beans. Their portions are fair and they really do make good carnitas.
This places sells these little vietnamese sandwiches on a baguette roll. They are very good, although not enough meat in them. What do you expect for 2.00 dollars? They also serve a really good Thai Iced Tea.
Ok everyone loves McDonalds, I know I do. I'm not going to complain about the food their, it is your typical everyday McDonalds but some of the workers are just rude. I already sent a complaint to corporate about one of the shift managers. I don't understand how people who dislike working with the public have jobs where they have to work with the public.... Wierd
They have a rather large selection of food. Their portions are good sized and the food always fresh, hot and tasty. Their shrimp dumplings are excellent. The fried rice is plentiful for the price. It is open til 3:00a and is a local hot spot for many law enforcement and even the mariachi guys. Not a fancy place by any means. Everyone is usually very nice and eager to please. Highly recommended.
Always a pleasure doing business with them. They really do try to get your sandwich made quickly to avoid a long line. Friendly workers too. Stop in and say hi to Adam (he makes the best sandwiches and will make you smile at the same time)
You call and get placed on hold for an eternity. All I wanted to do was apply for credit and get some pricing information regarding their appliances. FORGET IT!!! They obviously don't want my business because I even left my name and number so someone could call me back at their convienance. It's been 2 weeks. I will take my business elsewhere.
