East Side Checker Club

We were brought to the Checker Club by friends who were reared in the local area many years ago and we are sorry that we didn't find this place a lot sooner. Everything is top shelf. The food has never disappointed us. The portions are more than ample. The mixed drinks are as good as they get. The desserts are to die for. The prices can't be beat. The waitstaff are cordial and patient. The house specials are great. I would never have expected to find a great place like this in such a hidden location, although it's very easy to find. One visit should make you a regular.
