For couples, the key to this place is this : sit at the bar, chillax, and ask the bartender what's good on the menu for the evening. Just let them recommend something, it's sure to be amazing whatever it is. They seem to put more effort into parties of four or less. If you are in a party of more, they seem to do the "feeding tough" thing, bringing out the "family" dishes, which kinda suck. Not so great for big groups, but perfect if you are a small foursome or twosome and relaxed and looking for a good meal. The bar area definitely seems to put more effort into the food and service, so I recommend it.
This place is "decent". good hearty thai food, but honestly, if you really want some fantastic thai food for the same price within a one mile radius, go to Tamarind. Better ingredients, better/deeper flavor in the food. Jasime puts jalepeneos in some of the "spicier" dishes for god sakes. If you like red-neck thai, i'm sure you'll love it, but I just think it's misguided. If you want some authentic, off the boat deliciousness, go to Tamarind.
This place is relatively new - the food was very good, but way to expensive for what they served. Its is a good place to take a date you want to impress - the ambiance is top notch, but not a "regular" place. Also - they over-season their steaks. Somewhat pretentious.
Great food at really great prices. If you are in the North End and want a tasty inexpensive lunch, go here- it's where the locals go. The Dino's Special is the best!!!
Stopped by this place last weekend and was very pleased to find a high-quality meat market in Plano. Steaks where very good and their homemade sausages where phenomenal. Great service and they have fresh and frozen whole pigs available.
We order from this place once a week. The prices are reasonable and they deliver. The food is really really really really really good. - very fresh and they don't drench it in oil. Great alternative when you are tired and hungry and don't want to eat the usual fattening delivery. - like a home-cooked Thai meal - we've been to the restaurant and most customers where Taiwanese. If you eat in, keep in mind people go there for the food and not the ambiance, so don't expect much in that area. Dishes we like are the Thai Peanut, Red Curry with Chicken, Thai Steak, Pad-Kee-Mow, Corn Patties and Tempura Vegetable. People rave about the papaya salad, but it was a bit spicy for me (and I like spicy). Beyond that the people running the place are really nice and the delivery guy is a trip. Also - if you eat-in it's BYOB. By far my favorite Thai place.
