I say AKA because in the yellow pages this business is listed as Pedro Monzon and not Princeton Dental Care. I have been taking myself and my family to Pedro for about 11 years now. The kids feel at ease with him and he has a good chair side manor. Many of the dentists we tried before Pedro had charges that were more than our insurance company would pay so we were stuck with the difference. That is not the case with Pedro. They try very hard to work with your schedule so that working people can actually go to the dentist. He even has some days when he stays open late. He is gentle when working on your teeth.
We recently used C & C for some wiring in a remodel job we were doing. They came when they were scheduled and stood behind their work with the one problem we did have. I would recommend this contractor.
Precision Builders is a full service home contractor that can handle all jobs from a small remodel or repair to building a complete new home. Like most builders their biggest problem is getting the work done in a timely fashion.
For any plumbing or heating job you need I suggest you call Dave Bohm. He does excellent work and goes out of his way to make sure the work is done right. The only problem is because he is so good he is extremely busy so if It's no an emergency you should plan ahead. I was referred to him by a customer of his and I recommend him to anyone I talk to.
The steaks at Alexanders are awesome. They specialize in cook your own steak. You get to pick your meat out of the cooler and grill yourself so if you don't like how it was cooked you can only blame yourself. You can pay a little extra to have them do it for you but what's the fun in that? If you have room for desert the skillet cookie is one of the best deserts you will ever have anywhere.
If you like German food Kaiserhof is the place to go. They have all of the traditional German favorites and the food is outstanding not to mention the portion sizes. He also tries to throw in some specials so the menu is not always exactly the same. Some nights you might even be serenaded with and accordion.
Hunters Ridge golf course used to be a private club that has now gone public. The course is the best maintained course in the county also the most expensive. The setting is beautiful and the club house is an old plantation style with the tall pillars. Food in the restaurant is also very good. The course is challenging with the # 15 being the most difficult. Par 5 with narrow fairway and woods on both sides. You need 3 very good shots to make it to the green without losing a ball. Greens are small. I really enjoy playing there but don't more often because of the cost.
This place is as the name says. When you go in there you will see all types of different guitars in many different states of repair. He really takes the time to go the extra mile and treat his customers with personal service. They not only repair all types of string instruments but they also have guitars for sale. When I needed to look for one for my sons birthday I called to find out his hours of business. He could hear the disappointment in my voice because I couldn't make it before they closed. He asked me what time I could be there and stayed open late to wait for us. Once there he didn't rush us and let my son try all the different guitars to see which one felt the best to him. He also played the guitars for us to hear how they would sound with a professional musician playing. Prices are competitive with the super stores but the service is world class.
If your looking for great authentic Mexican food and are not too picky about the decor this is the place to go. Portion sizes are huge and the prices are good. I have yet to have something on the menu that wasn't terrific. The restaurant is in the downtown section of Rock Falls so the seating area is small.
Arthur's is a deli style restaurant that serves sandwiches, soups, pasta salads, salad bar and cheese cake deserts. I'm not sure when they originally opened but I know they have been in business for at least 20 years with two locations. I prefer their subs to any of the other sub sandwich places in the Sterling Rock Falls area. The soups are also fantastic. There was a Quiznos in town that went out of business and I think it was because they couldn't compete with Arthur's.
